“Will go back again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We recently stayed at the Almond Tree Inn and had a wonderful experience. The staff did a great job of making us feel welcome. The Inn was well kept up and the rooms great (the beds were wonderful). Completely updated, nice touch with the bath robes. Very pretty grounds and quiet. This is at a quieter section of Duval, a great location. Breakfast was nice, took turns eating there or out for a brunch. Social Hour with wine/beer and snacks was a nice break between tourist activities and dinner. Staff did a nice job of making recommendations for activities and dinner. They made our reservation for the La Te Da Cabaret (Randy Roberts) and taxi. We really enjoyed dinner at Mangia Mangia, Shawn's (I hope that was his name) recommendation. We plan on staying there again on our return.

Room Tip: Even poolside rooms are quiet, blackout blinds.

We have stayed in a variety of places on Key West, but this one is the best. Small and intimate, the staff gets to know you and does all the little things that make a stay great. You get a very lovely breakfast each morning and they give you coupons for wine or beer at their evening hors d'oeuvres hour. The rooms are well appointed and spotless. They have a small, but more-than-adequate pool and spa. The property is located just off Duval St near the quieter southern end, but just a comfortable walk from the hustle and bustle of the popular tourist bars. The Conch Tour Train stops right on the corner so if you don't want to walk to Mallory Square for sunset you can always pay for the tour, see the island and hop off for the sunset party. We are already planning our return to the Almond Tree Inn next year.

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were very nice. This is a small place so any room should be wonderful. No res...

You cannot do better than staying at the Almond tree! Their very knowledgeable local resident staff guided me to the best vendors for services such as a sunset sail, wave runner island tours, and the best places to sample local flavors. The rooms and common areas are always extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff will be there to help you anyway they can - they clearly love what they do and enjoy working together. Thank You - Shawn, Bruce, Chery, Shea, Jose for a wonderful visit!!

Room Tip: All rooms are good and quiet. The 22 room hotel cozy environment keeps it quiet and peaceful stay i...

My husband and I just stayed one night in Key West after a few nights on another island. We found Almond Tree on tripadvisor and decided to book after reading some great reviews. Our stay here was wonderful. Room was beautiful, smelled so clean and fresh. All new bathrooms and accessories. The pool was great and we were able to go for a quick dip after a tour of Duval Street. Great location and proximity to anything you would want to visit while in Key West. Rented bikes directly across the street and we didn't need a car or taxi for the time we were in Key West. The bed was supper comfortable and all the linens were very soft and cozy. Nothing bad to say about this place, if we return we will stay here again and definitely recommend it to friends traveling down to the Keys.

Room Tip: Regular room was a little small, but in Key West you aren't in your home all that much. If you...

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and have absolutely zero complaints. Such a cute place! They serve a great breakfast as well as host happy hour every day. They have an amazing staff that is very accommodating - and you can't go wrong with the location! Thanks for making our trip great! I can't wait to come back!

This family operated inn located only half a block from Duval Street ended up being the oasis we've looking for. Usually my experiences in Key West have been less than gratifying: overpriced run-down places with nothing much to offer than the fact that they're located in this popular touristic area but the Almond Tree Inn was very refreshing in this sense. Great accommodations, comfy beds, very nice staff members, centrally located; couldn't ask for more. I took my mother and my niece to this trip and all four of us were extremely comfortable with the size of the bedroom. We chose a busy time of the year so prices weren't so affordable but the experience and the kindness of the staff during breakfast and happy hour made it all worth it! Will definitely be back next time I visit Key West.

Room Tip: Steps from Duval, not cheap but worth the extra buck

I knew the inn was going to be good after reading all the reviews but it surpassed my expectations. We stayed in a King Suite and it was perfect, I can't think of 1 negative thing to say about the room or the service we received while we were there. The pool was rather large for Key West, especially for a little inn. Towels on the chairs each morning, perfect location for sunning on one side and shady on the other. Peaceful, didn't even feel like we were on busy street. Breakfast was great and the sheets always smelled so good! The location is excellent, Moped Hospital for scooter rentals within walking distance, Duval right around the corner. CVS right next door if you forget anything. Just ideal all around and I would recomment the Almond Tree Inn to anyone that asked me where to stay in Key West over all the other B&Bs we've stayed at.

Room Tip: The suits are away from the pool a bit, the regular rooms all open up to the pool and in the wee hou...
