“Our favorite B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2008

This is our 5th trip to KW Harbor Inn, so obviously we like it....LOTS! Tracy and the staff are friendly and helpful. We've stayed in the Pool House and Main House. Nice to have a pool on site that is more than bathtub size. The continental breakfasts have all sort of things to choose from. The afternoon happy hour is fun with complimentary beverages and snacks. The grounds are beautiful. You can rent bikes on site. And the location is outstanding in our opinion. We will always book our room at KWHI.

There is a reason the Key West Harbor Inn is highly rated. It lives up to every expectation and more. The property is beautifully maintained in a charming Key West style, with brick paths, wide verandas, and perfectly maintained tropical landscaping. At one point, I lost a piece of jewelry under the bed and was forced to retrieve it, normally not an appealling prospect. But at the Harbor Inn, even the area under the beds is clean.

The property location is situated nicely, right by the marina and several restaurants. Duvall Street is a short walk away, close enough to walk to quickly, but far enough away that the Inn grounds are peaceful.

This is not my first visit to Key West, but this is by far my favorite place to stay.

Had a one night stay during our short trip to key west.
Harbour inn is a cozy little hotel with a tropical garden, very very clean and has nice southern style rooms.
Happy hour between 4:30 and 5:30 pm is included, so come in and get your drink :)
Definetly AAA rating, had a very pleasant stay at the harbour inn.
will return back, when visiting key west again.

We spent 4 days/nights here and had a wonderful time. The property is tropical and secluded (and clean!!), yet only steps from the Key West bight and a couple of blocks from Duval Street.
You wake up to roosters crowing every morning, one of the many unique things about KW that I love.

Rent bikes from the hotel...this is by far the best way to get around. I recommend checking out little Bahama Village on Petronia Street. This is where Blue Heaven is (great for breakfast), but there are also two other places that are worth going to: lunch at the Conch Town Cafe (great cracked conch, grouper sandwiches, jerk chicken, and beans and rice), and dinner at Santiago's Bodega, a tapa style restaurant. The food is wonderful.

Thanks to Tracey, Eva, and the other staff for making this a lovely trip. I hope to be back soon.

Stayed for 3 nights and loved everything about it. Great location (10 mins walk to Duval St); beautiful tropical garden with small pool; very comfortable room and very quiet. It truly is an oasis. Great daily happy hour and breakfast by the pool. Would definetly stay again and recommend to everyone. Tripadvisor rating is well deserved!

We stayed for two nights at KWHI and it was everything and more then what we had expected. Tracey and Eva were wonderful host and made us feel at home. The grounds were just beautiful. I had read all the reviews listed here and they are all true, this place is a slice of heaven. You could not ask for a more beautiful location, close to everything. You will not regret staying here one single minute.

  • Liked — The beautiful landscaping.
  • Disliked — Trip did not last long enough!

This place is the sleeper of the whole of Key West. It is the perfect location being one block from the fishermans wharf, within a few blocks from Duval St., fantastic rooms, and little to now noise. I was extremely happy with my experience. This place exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I would certainly return to Key West Harbor Inn. A lovely B&B that had a wonderful breakfast and great drinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

  • Liked — Location and the people
  • Disliked — Although they do have parking, it is limited. We were fortunate to get a spot.
