“Beautiful, relaxed and comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2008

This is a lovely boutique hotel, centrally located in a very attractive street yet 'hidden' away in a luscious and well-designed small garden. The service is friendly, helpful while not being intrusive. There's a very relaxing Happy Hour for cocktails by the pool and a very nice breakfast is also served by the pool. Our room was delightful and very comfortable: furnished well and with old wooden floors. This hotel is the perfect base to explore Key West and everything is within walking distance. One caveat: we parked in a nearby car-park and promptly got a ticket after overstaying our 7pm limit by five minutes! The hotel told us that police/parking attendants pounce on visitors - in fact, one of the reception team told us she'd got a ticket before the allotted time even ran out!!! So be a bit careful on that one. Other than that, memorable and atmospheric. Recommended.

My husband and I spent one night and two days in Key West. We stayed at the Key West Harbor Inn for one night. It was awesome. Loved the proximity to town and proximity to the ferry, The staff was great, friendly and left us alone. The hotel was nice and small and quiet. The pool was beautiful. Loved the happy hour and the breakfast in the morning!!! The room was beautiful...we were in the Antigua room. It was clean and very quaint! This is a great getaway for a couple!!!!!

We were very excited when we booked our stay at the Key West Harbor Inn. Though we have visited the island before we never came during this time of year and were surprised to find an available B&B so close to Duval St. and the harbor. When we found availability at the KW Harbor Inn we were worried that it wouldn’t be as nice as other places we have stayed. We were very wrong. When we walked through the front gate into a tropical paradise complete with winding brick pathways, fountains, and statutes, we could only envision the way Key West was 50 years ago. The buildings boast verandas and porches with hand-milled spindles and gingerbread trim. The pool is nicely heated with vegetation abound.

We arrived at the inn at about 4:30 in the afternoon and were greeted by Tracy who checked us in quickly. We were then off to their complimentary happy hour where we expected beer and boxed wine. We were surprised to find top-shelf spirits with loads of mixers. The hot and cold munchies and snacks were plentiful. You couldn’t beat the price. The continental breakfast is served between 8 am and 10 am and consists of croissants, rolls and toast, butter, jam, and key lime marmalade, fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, and coffee, tea and juices. We found the coffee was great and available to us early risers at 7 am.

Our queen size room, though a bit small, was comfortable and very clean. We peeked into some of the other rooms and were envious of their sizes and tropical appointments. I suppose booking late does have a few drawbacks but we were happy with our room and were happy and love the place.

I would highly recommend the Key West Harbor Inn for your vacation accommodation needs. You will be very happy with your choice.

My boyfriend & I stayed 4 nights at the KWHI and loved every minute of it. The location is great...close to everything but quiet & relaxing. Our room, the Martineque, was overlooking the pool and had a small refrigerator, nice bathroom and an extremely comfertable bed.
Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and I loved the flavored coffee. Happy hour in the afternoon was a great way to meet other guests(actually had dinner and bar hopped with a nice couple after HH). Our flight was the last flight out and we were able to leave our luggage at the inn, sightsee all day and then change clothes before heading to the airport. I cannot say enough good things about the inn, dont hesitate to book your stay!

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Harbor Inn, The manager, tracy, was very helpful. We arrived early and she had our room ready and we left late and she was able to allow us additional time. Breakfast had a good variety of items and Happy Hour in the afternoon was nice as well. The location was great for walking around Key West. We flew and didn't need a car. We did rent bikes from the Inn and rode all over Key West. We will stay there again.
