My boyfriend and I stayed at Eden House in 2003. We had just come from Miami where we had stayed in a hostel with terrible customer service (I know it was only a hostel but the staff were so rude). We had walked about 20 blocks in the blazing heat - after getting off the bus with our rucksacks on our backs - and were greeted by the lovely receptionist who offered us a cold drink.
Before she showed us to our room she walked us around the hotel. I was blown away! There is a tree house with a swing seat big enough for two (very romantic) and a beautiful sun deck for sunbathing.
Our room was basic and we shared a bathroom with two ladies next door. I loved the veranda on the first floor and the swings outside the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful.
It is within walking distance to Duval Street but I recomend you rent a bike its much mre fun!
We were in Key West for 4 days and we would get up early to do an activity then retreat to the hotel in the afternoon. It was just wonderful.
I long to go back to Key West and when I do I will defintley be staying at the Eden House.
