If you compare this to renting a house, there will be no surprises! We did a timeshare exchange through Interval International, and knew that it did not have a 5-star rating. The resort is quiet, and the pool relaxing. The units are "dated" but clean. There are no housekeeping services - you take out your own garbage, and exchange your dirty towels for clean ones. The office is only open 8-5 Mon - Fri, limited on Sat & Sun (which seems odd since most people check in and out over the weekend). There is no on-site restaurant and no organized activities. There are washers/dryers on each floor of the resort, but they are not in each unit and they were pay machines. After relaxing at the pool each day, we drove (5 minutes) to Duval and Mallory Square and had a wonderful time. So, if you are self-sufficient and not looking for a 5-star resort, this is a nice place to stay.
