We booked the hotel (15 rooms) and The Top for our wedding reception. The hotel and staff were perfect in every way. Our room was large (suite) and had a beautiful view. The hotel is in the middle of everything on Duval Street, so you can walk everywhere. The catering, etc. was wonderful and our reception was great and went off without a hitch. We were catered to.

Stayed at the La Concha from 8/20-8/25/05

We were able to check in early (around 1pm) and enjoyed our five nights there. The beds were SOOOO comfy! Had no problem with street noise since we had a side room and the LOCATION of the hotel was KEY! We walked or took scooters everywhere.

We ate at the restaurant for breakfast one morning and my blueberry pancakes were delicious.

We really loved the view from "the top" for Sunset.

All in all a great stay. Would recommend the hotel for singles and couples (not sure about families since the pool isn't really too exciting for children) but It did its job cooling me off while sipping Pina coladas :)

My friend and I stayed at the Concha Hotel on the 20th of August of this year and loved it. The hotel has a wonderful decor lobby and pleasant clerks working the front desk. The concierge was quick to give us tips of how to get around the key. This hotel is rated as 4 star and indeed it is... is right on Duval just steps from many stores/ bars / and restaurants... One doesn't need a car to get around.. At most rent a moped or a small golf cart to get you around but everything is within walking distance. Our room was perfect, facing Duval street. We had a king size bed and the decor was very soothing. The bed and linens were phenomenal it felt like if you were sleeping at home. The also offer a cd to relax and soothe you while you sleep.... the room had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was spacious and overall the room was very clean and smelled fresh. The best part is that this is one of the haunted hotels on Key West and we were told that our room was visited by ghost every so often.... If you leave loose change around, you will find that they get rearranged.. well we did just that and up to the minute we went to sleep they had not been touched, however, in the morning it was a different story.. don't know what happened and we guess we never will.... Oh.. also try the Ghost Tour.. is really nice and the stories are funny.... bare in mind there is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes..... this key caters to Adults.... there is much partying happening every night.. I didn't see anything for children.... While in the Keys visit the Hard Rock Cafe.. a great spot to grab a drink and guess what you are able to take your drinks out and walk to the next bar... We also found a cute little Cuban restaurant by Mallory Square.. try it the food was plentiful and delicious.... By the way... while at the Hotel try the bar on the top floor, the drinks are great and the view is to die for.. the pool at this hotel looks nothing like the website.. this pool is very small, but there is plenty of lounge chairs to take in the sun.. oh and it has a bar tooo...... the beach is rocky so bring your aqua shoes, but the water is clear and very warm..... oh and there is also a parking fee of $18.00 per day.. Ouchhhh!!!!!!

Me and my sister and her friends went and stayed at ths hotel from August 6 to the 13. We loved it! the location is great you are right in the middle of everything and there is so much to do there. while we were there we rented a electric hummer car thing from manarch (i think, its located in the back of the building for 4 hours! this thing is freat you can also rent scooters but i found them way over priced. i actually found that everything in the keys are quit expensive (the clothing and the gift places) if you get in the right store and tell them that the thing you want to buy is too much than they will most likely lower the price for you until you agree with it. the store directly across from the hotel calld "Venus" is really good for that i found. i found that the rooms were very nice and the housekeepers were really good. the roof top for the sunset party is really awsome you you have make sure that you make it up there for atleast one of your nights. the front staff was very helpful and nice and so was the resturant people. there is a guy that serves breakfast in the morning his name is martin! he is such a sweetheart and will make you laugh every morning. all in all this was an awsome hotel and if i ever make it back to the keys(which hopefully i will) i will be staying there again.
