Around Midnight, a rooster started crowing....then his buddy joined in for about 10 mnutes. Every 20 mins....just as we were getting back to sleep, they would start again.

When we complained to the manager, we were told that it is "part of the culture" and they can't do anything about it. Locals that we spoke with said they had heard that rumor but rarely ever heard any roosters.

If you are used to a farm yard...this is the place for you. If not, find somewhere else if you want to sleep.

I had read many reviews on this motel before we left for our trip. It had a great rate on the internet so we chose to stay even with a few poor reviews. I found this motel to be very clean and employees to be very nice. Patty at the front desk was most helpful. Our room was spacious and well laid out. The pool area was clean and the water clear with plenty of towels available. My only complaint is that there was very little seating to eat the free breakfast. So we just took it to our room and ate there.I am a 17 year veteran motel manager and could find few faults with this motel.

Stayed here on the first night of my 12-day trip to Key West. I chose this property because it was my first trip to KW, didn't know anything, and thought, Well, it's only for one night, it's close to the airport... (and my other hotel didn't have availability). Now I know. I was unable to sleep, after traveling for 24 hours. The rooms facing the back parking lot are noisy, busy, and have a really creepy feeling with people walking past your windows continually throughout the night. Small groups congregated in the shadows of the back parking lot, doing who knows what. As soon as the nightcrawlers settled down, housekeeping started up. The place is really a dump, the TV reception is poor, the noise is incredible. If you are coming in from a long flight, if you're arriving after 9pm, if you are going to be in need of immediate food or rest, I would choose a property closer to town that is quieter. For $150 (or less!) there are SOOOOOOOO many more properties in Key West that are cleaner, quieter, cooler, more stylish, and friendlier. Though the front desk did provide me a takeout menu, they treated me like I was crazy for going out to part-ay on Duval right away. On checking out the next morning it took 25 minutes for them to call me a taxi - and there was no one else in the lobby. Read the other recent reviews and take these into consideration as well.

Dump, who are they kidding with these reviews. Beds are old, if you like to wake up sore from bedsprings this is your hotel. I'll never use Priceline again, paid 250 a night for this 60 dollar hotel!
