The Reach exceeded our expectations in every way. In planning this trip, we found several promos and deals, so don't just pay rack rate -- its pricey! Do some research, the deals are out there. Our room was a Tropical Courtyard Room. As promised, it had a king bed and a balcony which overlooked the courtyard. It was nicely decorated in subtle neutrals -- none of that annoying overly bright tropical theme that Florida is usually so fond of. The room had an in-room espresso machine, spa robes, and the NYT each morning. All the amenities you'd expect for the price. Access to the sister property (Casa Marina) was a plus: we made use of the spa and their beach as well as The Reach's own. Location of the property is excellent: close to attractions but not so close that it's overly noisy or touristy. It's walking distance to several restaurants, Higgs Beach, and Duval Street (if that's your thing). They have bike rentals and water sports booking available on site. The concierge was courteous and helpful; we were able to book a tour we wanted directly at the desk. The front desk associate who handled check-in was extremely professional, event the waitstaff at the on-property restaurant, The Striphouse, were consistently helpful, going out of their way to accommodate some dietary restrictions. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Outstanding service! I would add that this is more like an upgraded Hilton than a WA property. Still the staff's attentiveness was proper and above expectations. Room was clean and spacious and met our standards. The grounds were well maintained and the location is convienent to all of downtown Key West.

This property is a disaster. It's like staying at a Motel 6, at about $450 dollars. I normally associate the Waldorf properties with luxury and 5 star accommodations -- not this one. The breakfast was decent and the people working there were outstanding as I had expected, but the room was a complete disaster.

I was having a bad week... the stay at The Reach extended it significantly. Checked in as a Hilton Honors member at $494/night for an Ocean Suite; when looking to extend our stay recognized that the current daily rate was $394/night, but had to threaten to check out early to get the lower rate. Is this how hotel loyalty is rewarded? Room was noisy due to maid/maintenance room with related staff conversations coming through our door. Maid service was not received due to sleeping in to 11am, even though out of the room after that until 5-6pm. Television was a whopping 23-25inches at best. Expresso machine instead of coffee machine - why? Ipod charger did not work. Will not stay at this hotel or any Hilton unless entirely desparate. Yes, it was a bad week compounded by this stay. Of the hotel stays of the last couple years (100+) this was the worst especially for the value received.
