I made reservation for a room with a view. Checked in and they stated they upgraded us (do to me a gold Hinton Honors member). I went to a nice king studio room, with a horrible view of the the middle of palm trees and the back of court yard. I called down to the front desk and asked if they put me in the right room, they stated they upgraded our room and that was it. I informed them to down grade me to a room with a good view. I was given room 442 that was a king regular room with a AWESOME view

The property is in good condition, but it needs some up keeping and remodeling. Such as we had a walk in shower with with 1/2 glass door with a older looking shower curtain. Not very classy. The drain title in the shower is plain old, dust on the vent in the bathroom.

But because of the awesome view and the sound of the ocean while we slept, it was well worth it.

I might come back, unless I find something with a more updated cleaner rooms with a great view

My first time in Key West and I got the opportunity to stay at an outstanding resort. The Reach is located at a very convenient location. The private beach was beautiful and the staff was unbelievable! I don't think I have ever had such personal service. Patrick and John made sure we were always taken care of. Cleaning our sunglasses, giving us free samples of the drink of the day, cucumbers for our eyes and spraying us with cool water. The rooms were clean and upscale. We always had plenty of coffee and that says a lot since we both are big coffee drinkers! I highly recommend the Reach!

My wife and I did a last minute trip over Thanksgiving week and The Reach was one of the few places we could find a room. From the moment we walked in till the day we left the staff was very friendly and helpful. Chuck and the rest of the bell men were attentive, polite and Cindy at the front desk had us smiling and laughing despite a rather long travel day. We made the most of the beach and pool area each day where Patrick, John and Ricardo were great. As others have mentioned the rooms were a bit pricey, and while very clean showing some wear. If you take the lobby elevator to the 5th floor you can enjoy great sunset views without dealing with the crowds elsewhere in town.

Once again, The Reach exceeded all of our expectations. We were upgraded to a great room with a magnificent view. As with our past visit, the service was over-the-top. The staff at the front desk, doormen, housekeeping and pool concierge were all extraordinary.
Ricardo at the pool made the stay even more memorable.
I don't know what else to stay other than The Reach is truly a great place to stay when in Key West!
