If your expecting to relax in a chair enjoying the sun, pool and fun drink, expect to have get up often and order your food and beverage at the bar. Great setting but not so great pool service. But don't take it out on the pool attendants, they did a pretty nice job and are friendly.

From the 80's until this past October, Casa Marina never fails to deliver a wonderful Key West experience. If you are looking for nostalgia combined with all the amenities of a 1st class hotel this should be your destination. Enjoy a lovely breakfast al fresco overlooking the pool and pier reaching out to the ocean. The cabana boy will set you up in a perfect spot on the beach where you may be offered to sample the cocktail of the day while you bask in the sun. If you want to rent a bike or moped look no further. Your concierge will arrange that and more for you right on site. Totally walkable to many restaurants and unique little gift shops. And then there is the rest of the island to enjoy as well. What a great place. Go! You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great but the main building is my favorite. They do offer 2 level suites though...

The stay has been a complete disappointment. We were traveling with our baby and I called in the morning before I arrived to make sure we have a baby bed on arrival. The bed was not in place. The room was dirty, we found some hairs on the bed and plenty in the bathroom. I wanted to complain, but the manager was not available and the told me he will not come for a complain because he is located in a different building. In the evening we were sitting outside in the bar and they served drinks in plastic. Poor for this level and environment unfriendly. I try to reserve a table for breakfast outside at the reception, they said it is not necessary. In the morning we had to wait twenty minutes. They charged valid parking even we had no car and I explicitly mentioned this. Complaining again at the manager of reception, she promised me to take care for clear all invoice. At the end she gave a 25$ discount. Room was in very bad shape. Beach dirty, staff at breakfast and pool very friendly.

My wife and I have spent the last three days here and have really enjoyed the beauty, the service and the hammocks on the beach. We purchased our room as a flight and hotel package and had a room facing the front on the third floor. It was clean, quiet and modern. The comforter was past its prime and we exchanged it for a blanket that was in the closet. As we were out of the room during each day, walking, touring or flying to the Dry Tortugas National Park we had no complaints about the room. We had an appetizer and a cocktail one evening compliments of Hilton. Once the server knew it was a comp the service waned quickly and he was no where to be found. We enjoyed laying in the beach front hammocks several nights gazing at the stars. The property is about a 10 minute walk to South Duval. The advantage is it is a quiet respite from the craziness of Duval. The disadvantage is you will walk a lot or take a cab. A cab is 9.00 a person each time you get in.
We are walkers and enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, modern and well kept. a luxury resort which lives up to the Waldorf Astoria standards.

This was our 4th time staying at Casa Marina and it never disappoints. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Pool/beach side bar is relaxed and the staff take good care of you. Beach side service makes for a truly relaxing afternoon; who wants to walk 50 feet to get a drink or something to eat when it comes to you?

We asked for an early check in at booking and they accommodated. Decided to stay an extra night at the last minute and although it was a crowded week (2nd week in April) within about 30 minutes from our request we got a call that it was worked out (we were at the hotel beach enjoying the sun and surf).

Easy walk to top of Duvall St and all the bars and marinas nearby. Cab ride is about $12 if you don't want to walk. Plenty of small restaurants and stores even closer.

It's a grand hotel refurbished to its turn of the 20th century glory. I don't know of a finer place to stay in Key West if you're looking for great accommodations with a beach right outside your door.

Been a Hilton member for many years and decided to use some points to take my family to the Waldorf for vacation. When we checked out we forgot a memory foam pillow. As we realized it at 2am in the morning I opted to wait until first thing that morning to call it in. Spoke to security and was told nothing was turned in. Called back first thing the next morning, same response. I explained this was a 5lb contoured memory foam pillow in a bright blue pillow case and the security manager chuckled and said they definitely should have noticed that when cleaning the room and he would call me back after speaking with the cleaning person. No call... I called again and asked for the hotel manager, got the same story that nothing was turned in. I requested he ask the person who cleaned the room what they did with the pillow. He stated he would call me back and never did, simply sent it to Security for them to respond which they did via email "Sorry, nothing was turned in". You would think after spending 160,000 Hilton points to stay somewhere nice they would at least make an effort, heck tell me corporate policy is to throw pillows away and I would have been happy. I still have not received any responses from the staff as to what happened.

Check, double check, and triple check your room before you leave... security and management obviously don't care if things go missing or the staff takes things home. As beautiful as the view is I will definitely not stay in this resort again, especially with another Waldorf property a few blocks away.

Stayed here 30 days ago w/my husband & had the most fabulous stay. Liz, Marta & Constantine absolutely understand the value of exceptional customer service. Arrived 2 days ago for 2nd stay, thanks Liz, most fabulous room w/stellar views. Relaxing & enjoying the cabana by ocean in peace.. Would not hesitate to stay @ Casa Marina again & again...
