“Average hotel, but good value for money at Key West”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

If you want to visit Key West and you are a budget traveller – I would recommend this hotel. To get downtown you need to pays for shuttle bus, as it is pretty long distance. It would be much better to book a hotel in southern part of Key West (e.g. close to Mallory Square) but that would cost much more than here. Average hotel, noisy a/c but value for money so do not expect too much. Typical US breakfast – bagels, cream cheese, and not good coffee.

We Drove from Miami to Key west while I drove for most part, I enjoyed the shapes of islands in between and we had breakfast at Burger king on the way to keywest.
The best thing we did was no booking and we got this hotel on the way and we got the rooms as well.
It was not that nice but as we were tired and next day as well we were tired after water sports so we slept well.

Great place logistics! It is the ideal way to start the adventure in search of treasures, alligators, pirates and sharks!
To relax you can stay in the pool until late but I recommend you get around the island Key (also in water scooter) or the entire archipelago Keys.
In this island, there are resturants with Cuban food!

Unfortunately the Quality Inn Key West is now closed for renovations. It was the best week and stay for me and my husband. We had a room directly off of the courtyard and next to the pool. We spent quite a bit of time in the courtyard just relaxing at the comfortable tables and chairs. The foot traffic wasn't heavy, the area full of foliage.

The room was clean with 2 double beds. The daily cleaning service did a nice job. The shower had a nice spray with plenty of hot water. The refrigerator was very, very small. There was a microwave available. There was a safe available. The ice machines were on the brink of failure so it was difficult to get any.

Check in and out was expeditious. They were full of information about the area.

My hope is they'll reopen with as many or more amenities as before and we'll be able to stay again.

Stayed here 6/22 to 6/24; what a mistake. Hotel is beyond outdated in decor. The tv was snowy, rabbit ears could provide a clearer picture.
There were NO working soda machines OR ice dispensers the 2 day stay!!!! That is a fine way to end your hot and humid day returning to the hotel!! Then being told by the front desk McDonalds "is only a 5 minute walk." This was at 10 pm!!
The hotel shuttle service was a joke. There was NO guidelines to time as far as pickups & dropoffs. You just had to wait.
The room shower we had was awful, the water was soooooo hot during my shower......all of a sudden it ran steaming hot over my body. Luckily my children didn't use it!!!!
Never ever again will our family stay here!!!! I would rather stay in my car!!!!!!!!!!

2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Purchased a 2 night stay from Bill Browns Travel Plaza online,( the deal was 2 nights anywhere in US) and was moved to this one from the original Days Inn due to construction. Grounds were filthy, broken frigs in walkways, trash, flooded walkways from afternoon brief storm, musty smell in room and toilet bowl was not clean. Outside area looked like a ghetto.Luckily, we were out all day and only spent the nights there. Continental breakfast was pretty good, had waffles and some fresh fruit. Coffee was DREADFUL!!! Sitting areas to eat were hot and stuffy, not a/c'd. For the price we paid for 2 nights in Key West ($99), I shouldn't complain, but I am. I would not stay here again. From the name, I expected more. It is far from the Old Town of Key West.

Room Tip: My tip for a good room? stay somewhere else!
