We have stayed here twice, same room, requested second time. Large and comfortable, the people are very graceous and will help in any way possible. We went on a sunset kayak tour and they took care of everything including a pick up and return. The kayak tour is great too, i wish i could remember the name of it. You are close enough to duvall to walk or bike there is minutes, but far enough away to get a good nights rest in the comfy beds! Only place i stay in key west!

Room Tip: I dont remember our room, but it is the only one downstairs in the main house it is a bit loud when...

We just had a wonderful three night stay at this lovely historical B&B. It is located just a couple of blocks off of Duval Street, so was just far away enough from the "action" to be quiet and serene, but just a few minutes stroll to everything you want to do.

We stayed in the Veranda Room and found it comfortable, roomy, comfortable bed, great A/C, and my husband especially liked the face soap provided. (He refuses to use any "girly smelly stuff"). Breakfast was perfect - especially for the warmer weather. The pool out back is great for relaxing after your fun-filled day before dinner. We greatly admired the meticulous care that is taken in keeping this historic gem up to date and in perfect condition.

The owner Sam, and innkeepers Hilary, and Carol were all full of great tips for enjoying the area to the fullest.

We hope to return!

When I was looking for a B&B the first place I tried to reserve told me they needed a 4 night stay. I was dissapointed but after our stay at the Conch House I am happy the other B&B couldn't accomodate us. What a teriffic home. Our room was outstanding and the pool area was very inviting. The innkeepers were helpful with information about Key West. Places to eat and things to do. We had the Veranda Room which I feel is the best room. Double French doors that open out onto a balcony overlooking Truman Street. I am trying to swing a return next year but for a longer period time. We loved this place.

We stayed in the Heritage room and had a wonderful experience! The property is well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very homey and it makes you feel like you're home away from home. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The room had a frig and the bathroom was just outside the room and was dedicated only to us. The bathroom is spacious and we had no problem with it not being in our room. Daily breakfast was delightful and the banana bread is to die for! Sam even made us a couple of mimosa's one morning and provided history of the property. The pool area is a nice place to relax, as is the second level porch. Upon check out Sam informed us that we were welcome to use the pool and stop back in to freshen up before driving back to Miami. We thought that was world class to offer us that!

This property was wonderful. It was a great place to be. Close to everything, but far enough away not to be bothered. I would stay here again. The only downside was not having enough time in Key West. I would have loved to be able to just sit and enjoy the Conch House. Thank you for the great service and for being very helpful to our family.

My husband & I were married in Key West November 1999 and stayed in the Veranda Room for the week. We came back the beginning of April 2013 for another wedding (our friend's daughter's wedding) and stayed here again - same room. It was great to reminisce! The property is very well maintained, the room was very clean and private. I loved sitting outside on the upper porch (right outside our room), reading and relaxing in the breeze. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. We rented the bikes one day and really enjoyed pedaling around the island and visiting Zachary Taylor State Park (where we were married). Having the pool is very nice and, while we didn't actually use it, we enjoyed sitting by it during breakfast. Breakfast is your choice of cold cereals, fresh fruit and fresh baked breads/muffins, juice and coffee. The one day we wanted a hot breakfast, we rode the bikes to Banana Cafe and enjoyed omelettes and a yummy croissant. Check out Azur and Santiago's Bodega for some delicious evening meals - off the beaten path of busy Duval St, but well worth it! We had a blast there and will be back - but hopefully not another 13 years later!!

Room Tip: We love the Veranda Room - it's very large but faces the main road. Lots of construction on the...

We just returned from our 23rd trip to Key West with friends. We stayed in the Delaney House and it was wonderful. We usually rent a home, but this was a good alternative for our smaller group. The staff of this B&B is first class - there were very accommodating, cordial, responsive and friendly! The morning breakfast was fruit, muffins, cereal and breads - with a nice selection of juices and coffee. The pool area was great and we usually had it to ourselves! We found ourselves stocking up at the CVS and Key West Liquors - which were close by. The Southernmost Café had great food, as well as the "usuals" including Blue Heaven, Margaritaville, Bo's Fish Wagon and Salute. Also, having the bikes there when we got there was great. That allowed us a little more time during our vacation. We also enjoyed the kitties on property!

Room Tip: The Delaney Suite was a great common area if you know everyone staying in our house. The down side...
