“Good, but small”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

I love aquariums and tis one is good with some good exhibits, but it is a little small. Take 1 hour max from your schedule for this. Make sure you go during one of the talks you can see them feed the sharks and touch a baby nurse shark if you time it right!

“Interesting but expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

The aquarium and its guided tour are interesting, bit with $14 per adult a little too expensive in my eyes

“GREAT FOR KIDS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

I love to drive down and take my kids to learn all about the sea animals. They have an amazing touch tank that the kids can reach into and experience a few of the animals at the Aquarium. Great educational tour, a chance to pet a shark and watch them feed sting rays.

“Delightful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This "water zoo" is hard to discribe because it admittedly is old, small, and home to many injured animals that could not survive in the wild, which means it cannot fairly be compared to other aquariums. However, it also is not overwhelming and exhausting like other multi-storied complexes, which means one gets to fully enjoy the hour or two it takes to leisurally immerse in all the sea life and read all the information contained in this two building/4 outdoor tank exhibit. We really had the best time here getting so close to seeing all the many animals - Some behind glass tanks, and others in pools. The staff was so friendly volunteering answers to all our questions, and seemed to really know and care about their "friends" in residence there. Do not go if looking for the largest or newest or most varied, etc., type of living museum, but plan to stop here if you really want a quiet, personal and fun visit to learn and see more about local aquatic life.
