“Very Interesting Historic Site”

I was unexpectedly surprised how interesting the tour was at the Truman House. The tour lasted about 45 minutes and the guide provided many interesting anecdotes about Truman and others who have stayed at the house. The cost is $15/pp, and there are some discounts for AAA, etc. It is worth the price. You will leave with a greater appreciation for Truman, the office of the presidency and history itself!

“Great historic spot!”

We really enjoyed the short informal tour and a visit to the gift shop. This part of the island is very pretty & shouldn't be missed!

A true history experience. The tour provided the history of the house, built by the Navy in 1890 - to it's use by President Truman (1946 to 1952) and visits by subsequent presidents. It was an eye opener how President Truman lived and operated in the 'Little White House' during his Key West. A very worthwhile tour.

Nice tour....docents very knowledgeable. Interesting to see all that HarryTruman accomplished while in office.
