We just got back and spent 4 nights at the Key Lime. We were expecting a cottage because we booked a King Deluxe, but we were in the main house and our room was big and very nice. We had a huge balcony, a very comfortable bed, a large, clean bathroom with plenty of extra towels, flat screen TV, a great (but small) pool and the grounds were great! We thought this was a great place for the price and will definately stay here again.

We needed a place to stay in Key West for 3 nights. We wanted somewhere we could relax a bit while also providing a quiet but convenient base for enjoying all the island has to offer. This turned out to be exactly what we got.
The room we had was described as a Superior Queen Room. This was quite small but spotlessly clean and nicely appointed including a small refridgerator.
The aircon worked well and the LCD TV on the wall had good reception on most channels.
The area around the pool has many chairs, tables and sun loungers available to guests and we found it a very pleasant place to spend a few relaxed hours. A very good continental breakfast is also served by the pool although this is not available until 8:30.
The location is a about 5 minutes walk from the quiet end of Duval Street. It takes about 30 minutes to walk down to Mallory Square.
The hotel has off-street parking but this is limited and is available on a "first come, first served basis". However with the convenient location of the Hotel we only took the car out once while we were there.
We really enjoyed our stay here and found it to offer good value for money in really relaxed surroundings.

We had never been to Key West and did some research on where to stay. We landed on the Key Lime Inn because of it's location, parking option, and variety of rooms. Plus we liked that they had a pool and continental breadfast. We had an upgraded queen room which was bright and the bathroom was roomy too. Overall, the room was average. The bed was shaky and the matress seemed quite old and worn. The pool was small but nice. The continental breakfast was limited but okay. The staff, upon checking in and out, were indifferent and unfriendly. We were pleased with the location off of Truman but close to Duval. We could easily walk to the beach at the Duval Beach Club, the Southernmost Point, and still have an nice walk down Duval to Mallory Square. Parking spots were tiny but managable. When I go back to Key West, I would likely try another hotel given this was was just average for the higher price we paid.

Spent the night here in a cabin by the parking lot with a "private patio" (6x6 ft next to path to some rooms). The room was adequate. A 17" flat screen TV is neat but not for watching from bed. No place to hang up towels by sink. Breakfast OK but does not start till 8:30. Central location a plus. Easy walk to all points of interest.
