“Quiet, comfortable and perfect location ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We enjoyed our stay at The Key Lime Inn. The staff was friendly sand helpful. The grounds were well kept and set back from the street. The location was walking distance to all our activities and when it was too far they helped us rent a bike. Our room was comfortable and quiet, I did not hear noise from other guests. Complimentary breakfast was avoid.

We booked Key Lime Inn as it was one of the few hotels in Key West that accepted children. Location is great, just 5 minutes walk from Duval Street. Hotel facilities are beautiful, nice pool surrounded by palms, big terrace to sit outside, and a big parking slot free for guests.
We booked the standard queen room, which was too small for two adults and a toddler sleeping in a travel bed (but my fault as I missed to booked the deluxe queen room). Air conditioning was extremely loud, so that we switched it off at night to have a peaceful rest. We also heard this complaint from other guests, so it was not just ours. Non of the windows (bath and entrance) could be opened, so that the air in the room was always sticky. And breakfast was sub-standard from our point of view, very limited offer, especially if you stay for 3 or more days. We would expect a bigger variety of choice for the room price. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but not sure we would go again next time we visit Key West.

We're glad you enjoyed our great location, pool, public areas, and spacious grounds. Free parking is a rare commodity on the island too! We include a complimentary continental breakfast for guests who wish to partake of it, but there are some great restaurants nearby that offer big full cooked breakfasts if that's what you're looking for. The continental breakfast includes three types of bagels freshly baked and delivered daily from a local bakery, fresh fruit (oranges, apples, and/or bananas), assorted breakfast cereals, hard boiled eggs, ham & cheese croissants also delivered by a local bakery on a daily basis, oatmeal, a selection of yogurts, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

Our room rates are very competitive for our location, and we hope you will come and see us again sometime.

The Key Lime is situated on Truman Ave. near Duval St, which is the center of Key West night life. The place is reminiscent of early "motor courts" with some individual cabins and some clusters of adjacent rooms. The room we had was small, but the bathroom was very spacious & modern. There was a large flat-screen TV with cable.

It is a very clean and well-maintained place. Landscaped with lush tropical plants & shrubs, it has a very charming old Key West feel.

Staff very friendly & helpful.

The continental breakfast was pretty standard - served outside by the small pool.

We stayed here for 4 nights in November 2014. The hotel is in a lovely setting and has a real charm about it.

The location is fantastic as it's only 5 minutes walk to Duval Street and 15 minutes to the Marina. However, the hotel is tranquil and was a perfect and peaceful place to stay to recharge our batteries. Free wifi was an added bonus.

Breakfast is served next to the pool (coffee, cereals, porridge, eggs, yoghurt, pastries, bagels, etc) and is ample to start the day. The pool is an added bonus. There is a tea and coffee station in the main reception where you can help yourself at any time.

We stayed in a standard room which is the smaller size offered at the hotel. The room was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. A fridge would have been the icing on the cake in terms of the offerings in the room however there is an ice machine that we used to chill our drinks.

The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Overall - a very relaxed setting in a quaint and charming hotel makes this a lovely place to stay.

A lovely well situated inn in the heart of Key West. The staff is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable beds. I really liked the poolside breakfast and the muffins were especially yummy. If I returned to Key West, I would stay here again. And I forgot to mention free parking and free Wifi.

Room Tip: Rooms on the pool are a little noisy. The small cottages are adorable.

We stayed here in July for4 days. It was the best hotel of our trip round Florida. We stayed in a deluxe room it was really clean, cool and smelt lovely! Is was spacious and had a little garden out the back. We really enjoyed the privacy of the little cottages and how the hotel was spread out. The pool was nice and the breakfast sufficient to our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this hotel enough, it was a little piece of paradise.
