“Great location and very quaint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014 via mobile

This hotel is very nice, the staff was very welcoming and the hotel was clean. It is conveniently located, it walking distance to Duval street. Not close to the beach but you can rent a scooter for about 45 for the day and you are good to go. The bathroom can use a little updating. The continental breakfast is very good try the blueberry muffins yummy. Over all a nice place to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this charming property. We reserved one of the larger king rooms which was a sort of stand alone cottage with a private deck. Spotlessly clean and quiet with ample space and a nice firm mattress, the room was a haven each night of our stay. The pool was clean and secluded. The poolside breakfast was not extravagant, but it was very nice to have fresh coffee each morning and water available in the lobby. Parking was available in the lot throughout our stay. The walk to Duvall Street, the Marina, and restaurants was short. I would definitely consider booking a stay here again if travelling to Key West.

We needed a place for one night to catch an early morning flight. This was the perfect fit. The price for the location is hard to beat. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It's an easy walk to Duval St. yet in a very quite part of town. Free parking is a plus, but a car is not needed.

The Key Lime Inn is a perfectly quaint cottage nestled in beautiful Key West. The staff was right outside their door greeting us as we arrived from the airport. They gave us great hospitality and their recommendations were spot on and extremely helpful. We were two blocks away from Duval street, and from where the Inn is located you are able to manipulate your type of night; you can stay low key and hang around Truman and Duval where there are great restaurants, or walk a few blocks down to where more up beat bars are located. Walked everywhere didn't need a car. Clean rooms ,well kept grounds, also provided morning breakfasts. Great stay will definitely come again! Well put together Key Lime Inn!

This is our 3 or 4 trip to the keys and we always try a new place. Key Lime Inn was enjoyable. We parked our car and didn't use it again till we left. We were here only for 2 days. The staff is wonderful and attentive! The kids in our party loved the place. They went lizard "hunting" and the staff even helped them!

The pool was warmer than I would have liked, but it was clean. With the weather as hot and humid you would think people would like a cooler refreshing pool to jump into.

The rooms were clean and large and we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I had was the laminate floor was filthy. Walking on it barefoot, my foot was black! I called the front desk and they promptly had housekeeping mop the floor. Again they actually cared about their guest!

The courtyard was all mulch so the floors get quite dirty quickly. It also makes it a little harder to get your luggage in the room. They do have "carts" for guest to use. The carts are not traditional hotel carts but something you would see a horse dragging but on a smaller scale. Again the kids thought it was cool and it did what it was suppose to do..get our luggage to the room.

To the staff thank you for making our visit enjoyable!

We took a chance drove round Key West came across the Inn, we were greeted by two very good nice staff members who had a room we could have but as we were early could not get in the room yet but if we wished we could use the pool if we wanted to cool down. We came back after spending the afternoon exploring got our key for the room which which was spotless, lovely hard wood floors and a perfect temperature. The only minus mark would be your mossies which ate me alive this year but can't blame the Inn for this. Thanks for a great trip in Key West.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Key Lime Inn on two separate occasions... in one week! The first was a planned stay of two nights. We were so happy with our experience that we decided to stay here again after a brief hop down to KW from Marathon for the Hemingway Festival turned into a "we should probably get a room"-type of evening.

From the kind office staff to the clean rooms, the Key Lime Inn is an ideal place for those looking for a quiet spot to rest their heads in between adventures. The rooms are small, but nicely decorated and very clean. The pool is lovely-- a great way to cool off during the day and make some new friends with the other guests. The included continental breakfast is also an added benefit.

If you'd like to be a little out of the way of Key West craziness, but still very close to all of the action, I highly recommend Key Lime Inn. It's the perfect landing spot for all of your Conch Republic explorations.

Room Tip: The freestanding "cottage" rooms are a bit nicer than the attached, standard rooms.
