“Not your typical B&B but would definitely recommend for a more relaxed stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Just a few short blocks away from the crowds and noise of Duval Street. Quaint hotel with nicely decorated rooms. Nice, relaxing pool. Staff was very helpful. Bike rental company was just 2 blocks from hotel (they would have delivered). Very sweet young girl at the desk had great suggestions for restaurants, etc. Will definitely stay here again!

The rooms are clean but somewhat sparse. The Room 9 balcony floor needs to be sanded and repainted, The shower facility has no hand holds and the floor can be quite slick, this could be an accident waiting to happen,.I mentioned to the front desk staff that a second chair in the room would be nice. The maids did an excellent job and Clement was always present offering any help he could provide. The pool area is very clean and comfortable although the breakfast served there was just OK. There definitely is a need to limit pool area smoking to a specified location. The desk staff was always willing to offer dinner suggestions and arrange for transportation. I couldn't ask for more from them. Given the location, We would definitely consider staying there again.

Room Tip: If you desire a quiet location go for back bedrooms (9&11) in the Maloney House

Right off the beaten path about 2 blocks from duval, its a nice secluded inn on beautiful grounds surrounded by trees. Cute one room bungalows are lined up around the main building. They are a little tight but great for key west. How much time are you spending in the room anyways? Pool was nice. Plenty of room when we went which was off season. Ladies at the desk were very friendly and helpful. It's a little walking distance from the action, which is nice when you want to be away from the action.

I could not think of a better named place to stay in Key West than the Key Lime Inn. I read reviews for a lot of places, specifically looking for good parking because we were driving down. The place was perfect! It's old Key West style with a super friendly staff and lovely grounds. The pool was divine.

We want to give a special thanks to Clement Pla who works there. Even though he is there to do laundry, he was more than willing to help us out. My husband required some extra pillows, and Clement brought them to our room. What really stood out was that I had an accident and required some bandaids and such. Clement not only got me what I needed but was genuinely concerned for my well-being. He obviously goes above and beyond for his job.

We will be back. The accommodations are minimalist, which we liked. The bed was comfy, and the room was cool. We actually had to turn the air up because it got too cool!

We were within walking distance of most areas. There is a trolley stop just down the street where you can purchase tickets to get on the trolley for a 2-day ride. There are scooter rentals places all around, as well.

We will be back!

The hotel was in an ok area. Yes it's walking distance to duval but the quiet end of duval. It's far from Mallory - walkable but far - especially in the heat. Very clean and very small room. Loved the windows but couldn't really open the shades for privacy issues so the room always seemed dark. I found it interesting that this is a historic inn but the staff had no clue about the history. Great pool area. Nice porch swing where we spent some time. Grounds well maintained. Free parking which is a huge plus. We never had any problem finding a space. In room safe was very small and the lock was broken. Overall very nice and would stay here again. There are many options in key west that are so similar. I'm inclined to try a different location next trip.

What a gem!!! Cute cottage style room with tropical garden porch. Free breakfast, Free parking....stayed 3 nites never moved our vehicle. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary was absolutely magical. Property convenient to everything in Key West. Would definitely stay here again. Why only 4 and not 5 stars? No shelf/ledge in shower, no rugs on beautiful wood floors.....slippery when wet!! In room fridge extremely wobbly. room key did not open the hallway and patio door. Got locked out...good thing it was in the morning!! Michelle at front desk was a pleasure with her great smile and upbeat personality. See you again Key Lime Inn!
