The staff was exceptional nice and accommodating to me and the facilities were beautiful. Great location, also, near the nightlife, restaurants, clubs, shopping. The room was roomy and comfortable, very nice bathroom.

This property in Key West is in the middle of a neighborhood. The street is small, the on-site parking was expensive. OK location for walking except for one MAJOR thing - the heat and humidity was VERY oppresive so walking any distance was very difficult. It is a short walk to the supposed Key West "high point" (and I use the term advisedly), Duval Street, which I will refrain from commenting on since my review is dwelling on the hotel itself.

Hotels rooms were OK and bed was comfortable. A quiet property with many tropical trees, ferns and the like and great pool area. Staff was friendly and breakfast was limited continental type, nothing hot, but better than most restaurants in Key West!

Paradise Inn was good if you're commited to go to Key West, but be ready for horrific weather unless you want to stay at the hotel 100% of the time.

Room Tip: Stay away from pool area for sure, and avoid a room on the 2nd floor.

This little hotel I found online because of its ratings and its price. It turned out to be even better than expected. The several buildings of the hotel seemed to be recently renovated. The salt water pool was a great pleasure and we enjoyed especially the 5-7pm free wine and the excellent breakfast, which was included in the room rate. The hotel is located next to Duval Street and still is very quiet. A great place for people 18 and above (one must be 22) ….

Room Tip: Room 102 is off the pool, which is even more quiet ...

Booking possibility via internet no problem; very good situation of the hotel; we especially did like the garden area; staff was very friendly and helpful; athough coming from abroad we never had a problem. The idea with the wine free of charge is nice.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here on a recent vacation. Our flight arrived late and the website said they closed at 11. When I called from the airport at 9:45 to say we were still waiting on luggage, I was informed that the office actually closes at 10 and that we could call the security guard on the premises to let us into our room. Fortunately, we got there just before the office closed so this wasn't an issue. Rooms are spacious. The cleaning staff does a great job of keeping things neat. The best part of this hotel is the proximity to everything on Key West. It's right in the middle, so we were able to walk everywhere without much trouble. The property is also pretty quiet, although the walls are thin and we could always hear our neighbors coming in at a really late hour. Our last night sort of ruined the mostly good experience. There was a power outage for approximately 15-20 minutes throughout the property. Also, I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and when I turned on the light, a HUGE roach scurried out from behind the sink. We heard another one flying around in the closet as we were packing up to leave in the morning. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately. Not what I want from a hotel that we are paying good money for.

This is a very unique property in Key West in the middle of a neighborhood. From the street looks small, but is actually good sized with varied lodging options. Has on-site parking which is expensive but expected. We never moved our car. Great location for walking and biking all over. We rented bikes on site and rode to the fort (Zachary Taylor), Duval Street, to spin and yoga classes, butterfly conservatory, restaurants and the laundry. You could also walk to all of these places. So much fun. The rooms are very large and bed is comfortable. No carpet, yeah! Never heard anyone above us or on either side. It is a quiet property and we really relaxed. Our king suite was on the first floor overlooking the pool with a sitting area just outside our door. Hung out at the pool a lot which, although small, was adequate and quiet. Our room had a refrigerator so was easy to grab a beer and get back to the pool. Bathroom was small, but had an extra sink just outside, closet was big as was the sitting area. Our room had a deck off of the bedroom. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was limited continental type, nothing hot, (walk a block to "Off the Hook" for a great and inexpensive breakfast (and dinner for that matter)), or walk a few more blocks in the other direction to Camille's... also very very good (and reasonable) for breakfast. Avoid Blue Heaven, super hyped, overpriced and really not very good. Other great restaurant choices included Caroline's on Duval and a fantastic Spanish restaurant, Santiago's Bodega (fantastic tapas, wine). All of this within walking distance of The Paradise Inn. We were trying to find a great Cuban lunch place and stumbled upon the 5 Brothers Grocery... ordered the original Cuban sandwich which we took outside and ate on a bench (no dining here, but fun anyway).

We were looking for a place within walking distance from the main attractions in Key West and were completely impressed with The Paradise Inn. The location is fantastic, the pool/hot tub are amazing, and they even have a continental breakfast in the kitchen of the main building every morning. The rooms are very clean and straight forward with a mini fridge.

My only complaints would be that the cost was roughly $30-50 more expensive than it needed to be and we also had to spend an additional $25 to park our car overnight. These expenses aside- the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they more than made up for those costs. We only stayed here for one night but if we were planning on staying for a week those little costs would add up and I would probably look for less expensive options right in the same area. We are hoping to get back there in the next few years and we will most definitely put The Paradise Inn on our list of places to consider staying again.
