We booked this Sheraton through Priceline the night before our trip and got a terrific deal. We expected a generic hotel, but this is Key West and everything, including the Sheraton, is quaint and tropical. The grounds are lush and well kept, they have a very nice pool and whirlpool with just-right temperatures and the rooms are all suites. Our 2-room suite with a kitchenette could sleep up to 7 guests and was luxurious, updated and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and at 4pm virgin mojitos and cookies were available in the lobby. We recommend you check out the real mojitos, and the discounted appetizers and select drinks during happy hour.

This hotel is about 2 miles from the historic district, but hosts a free shuttle service that runs all day and late into the evening. A beautiful beach is right across the street from the Sheraton, and the hotel rents kayaks and bicycles, so there's plenty to do when you're not shopping.

My lovely wife and I went down to Key West to relax and get away from it all for a few days. We had never been to Key West, so we did some homework on places to stay. Couldn't be happier with our choice of the Sheraton Suites. If you are looking for something right in the middle of the action on Duval- look somewhere else. We, on the other hand, were looking for large clean room and a quiet place to chill after a day on the water. And that's exactly what we found, and more.

Our room was very spacious and well appointed. Not 5 star, but a solid 4 and we really liked the suite set up, much roomier than we expected. We had a corner, ocean view, suite which was very quiet. We also found the business center to be extremely convenient, as we had to print out some work documents (ugh.) Didn't check out the fitness center, but some other guests told us it was nice.

The free hotel shuttles ran like clockwork and made it very easy to get down to Mallory Square, the docks and Duval each day. Parking looked like a major hassle, so we were glad not to have to mess with it.

While the accommodations were great, it was the staff that made it special. The front desk personnel, the housekeepers and the shuttle drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. I would also like to thank the concierge, Lizelle, who helped us with dinner reservations, snorkeling and a sailing adventure. She had excellent recommendations and handled all of the arrangements efficiently and with a smile (and a lovely S. African accent.) Additionally, the General Manager, Bob, seemed genuinely committed to ensuring that his guests were well cared for and went out of his way to make us feel at home.

We look forward to a return visit in the future.

On check in we were advised that the room we had been allocated had a view and would be quiet.I am not sure if the clerk booking us in was joking with us .We were given Room 333.The room was spacious and had a large bathroom and a balcony .The view consisted of extractor fans and air conditioners units.The noise was constant and so we were unable sit on the balcony and even with the doors shut you could still here the noise day and night .This room would be better value if sold to budget travellers .The only other suggestion would be that the sofa /settee is cleaned as it looked and felt dirty .

We loved the suite setting - plenty of room to relax plus a mini-kitchen. The bathroom was really nice, with plenty of room for hanging up clothes, etc.
Nice pool area, great food - loved it! Plus the beach is right across the street, and there's a shuttle to the heart of Key West that runs frequently. Very convenient.
