There is a large variety of stores on Duval Street: bars, boutiques, T-Shirt shops, restaurants, jewelry, etc. A little bit of everything. A great place for a stroll to broese or shop.
Wonderful, so cool, I never got to see all of it! I want to go back and do the pub crawl and the shopping trip and herd the ghost tour is fun.
Always an eyeful on Duval. Much has changed since out last visit, and the cruise line crowd makes for an interesting day on Duval. Take your time, explore the art shops, meet the artists. Look for the coupons in any of the street fliers, there is always something happening. Early evenings, after sunset, the people move from Mallory Square to Key West. Great people watching if you can sang a table or stool and watch the street in actin.
So many great places to hang out, grab a drink and some food, and people watch! There are so many shops, restaurants, and bars that you could spend days there and feel like you still have not seen it all. Will definitely be back!
I live in Florida and have no desire to drive the distance to Key West to walk around a crowded street with cheesy tourist shops. The area is not user friendly for elderly, disabled or strollers. I can name at least 15 waterfront towns in Florida that are way more appealing. Definitely not family friendly.
