If you've spent any time in Key West and haven't stopped in Mallory Square, you're missing a great view.
The sunset shows are put on by some very talented and daring performers. They usually stop about a half hour before sunset and then it's time for the most spectacular sunset on the planet.
During the day, it's quiet, but as the sun sets, it comes alive.
A great way to end your day in Key West. You can't miss it, just head in the direction everyone else is walking about an hour before sunset. You never know what you'll see! The performers are amazing and a lot of fun. Kids will be amazed!
Mallory Square is the best place to go and see the beautiful Key West sunset. There are vendors and street performers that are entertaining to see. Make sure you bring your camera!
We had a great time watching the sunset and all the going ons. Make sure you bring some $1s because they do work for tips there. Catman was crazy but fun
I second everything that has already been said here (except for the guacamole stand - I somehow missed that and I wish I hadn't). However I feel I need to place special attention on one of the sideshow performers - Dominique and his Flying Housecats! Dominique is a maniacal frenchmen who has spent way too many hours in the sun and has somehow trained regular housecats to jump through flaming hoops and walk on tightropes. Seriously, don't miss this guy. I can remember him being there when I was about 8 and I'm 26 now and he's still there. Every year he gets a little crazier.....oh yeah the sunset's nice too. :)
