We went to Key West for Chritsmas vacation. Upon arrival we rented a car and drove to our hotlel, (the Hampton Inn). We kicked arount a while then took a scheduled sunset cruise with Sunny Days. It was a beautiful sunset and a great cruise. The next day we went on a dolphin watch/kyakt/snorkling adventure with Eco South. This was great for our 13yr. old and for me and my husband. We saw exactly what we were supposed to see and had a wonderful time. I would recomend this to anyone. The rest of our trip was spent running around Key West and shopping. We did the Aquarium, Shipwreck Historium and Hemmingway House. New Year's Eve was spent in the street in front of S;oppy Joe's where we watched the Conch Shell drop at midnight. New Year's Day we took in the sunset at Mallory Square. This was very pretty. My daughter really enjoyed the street venders and all the excitment surrounding the sunset celebration. This is a wonderful trip and I would recomend it to anyone who loves the water and just likes to have fun.

Vendors and entertainers gather before sunset to help celebrate....every day is different! We enjoyed Mallory Square as much on a cloudy day as on a brilliant sunshiny day. If you're a "people watcher" this is a good place to be! And what a lovely tradition; feel free to celebrate the sunset when you get back home :-)
