1 day is probably enough, not like the old days, the young entertainers sound like the old ones, a little too much in your face these days and some language could be an issue for families, again Key West really is not a family destination

Mallory Square is located at the end of Duval Street, where the Sunset Celebration is nightly! It is a free must-see while visiting. The street performers and beautiful sunset is an experience that shouldn't' be skipped.
Grew very tired of everyone begging and harassing for tips. musicians were not anything outstanding.
The sunset viewing is a must do/see but we/most people had their views hampered by the anchored Coast guard vessel (with padded Chinook helicopter), waverunner drivers trying to be cool and the floatilla of sunset tourist boats. The shops are typical "beach" shops and the street performers are interesting.
