“A Must-Do in Key West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Watching the sun set at Mallory Square is Key West tradition and should not be skipped. The sunset is not really the main feature here however, it is the congregation of circus acts, artists and those who don't fit into a category that is the main interest.

There is lots to see; incredible acrobats such as John, who proudly states that he is 54 years old, before amazing you with his acrobatic feats; I won't tell you what it is he does, but you won't be disappointed.

There is Mustafa, a singer/guitar player who says that NPR has named him the most well known busker in the world.

There is everything from fire baton twirlers to tightrope walkers to people who have their dogs walk tightropes to men who sit disguised with bundles of rushes and scare people as they walk past.

Just be prepared to be entertained and be prepared to tip liberally. Oh, and enjoy the sunset too.

Good place to people watch as the sun sets. Plenty of cheap eats, plenty of places to sit and watch the sun set. Lots of street entertainers.

“Don't miss the sunset at Mallory Square”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

If in Key West you have to see a sunset here at the square, well worth timing your day to see one. Oh by the way there is no charge to see one.

“The Place to go for Sunset”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

The nightly sunset festival at Mallory Square at one of two attractions the define Key West (the other is Duval Street) and can't be missed. Besides the beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean to the west, there is a lively crowd, vendors and street entertainers all celebrating the end of the day. Unlike Duval Street which is primarily for adults, sunset at Mallory Square has something for people of all ages and my kids loved the street entertainers and a great time.
