“Good Breakfast stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

We dropped in for breakfast and were rewarded with good omlets make to order, excellent coffee and a generous amount of great cuban bread. The waitress never came back to refill the coffee. That would have raised my rating.

“Great food, great value, so glad we stopped!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We were on our way to Key West, and drove through Key Largo at dinner time on Valentine's Day. Decided at the last second to pull in for dinner. Cuban food sounded good. No reviews, no yelp, nothing, just a spontaneous "let's give it a shot" decision. We were rewarded for our spontaneity with an absolutely fantastic meal served by a friendly and attentive staff. Based on the clientele that night, we felt like we'd stumbled upon a locals favorite. Don't miss the yuca and the black beans and white rice for sides! Our opinion of our meal was validated on our ride back up the Keys when we passed by at lunch, and their parking lot was packed with truckers. Who knows better where to stop for a great meal at a great price?

“Eat in...take away...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Haven't eaten inside in awhile, but we love to get Cuban sandwiches from the take away window.
The el Cubano is classic, Cuban traditional sandwich...filled with pork, ham, cheese, pickles and mustard on pressed Cuban bread. No one makes them any better, and it is big enough to share...with tax, less than $7. A deal meal!!!!

“Little stop on Highway 1”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Our food was fair with a fair price. Husband ate eggs, sausage links & Cuban toast (different). The sausage was tough. I ate a ham & cheese crossant & freshly squeezed orange juice. Friendly service.

“A great place to stop for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

We stopped here for breakfast on our drive home from the Keys. It was pretty busy with locals, so we figured the food was good. It was! The Cuban coffee was delicious as were our breakfasts with generous servings of pan Cubano (Cuban bread) on the side. The service was really good, and it felt like the staff was part of one big family. A great energy here. We plan to go back.
