My wife and I did dives 30-34 (+/-) with Quiescence last week. The staff were extremely helpful, funny, and friendly, and they don't take more than 6 people per boat so you get personal attention. Best thing is that the cost is no more than the "cattle boats" that take out 15+ divers. We got great advice, enjoyed the company on the boat, and loved all 4 dives. As was the consensus onboard, we wouldn't consider even trying another dive boat in Key Largo.

With a maximum of six divers per boat, Quiescence provides the kind of personal service that the other providers can't approach. The great, friendly staff tries to accomodate each diver by choosing sites appropriate for skill level and based upon sites already visited by divers in the boat to avoid repetition. If you've never been in the ocean, or if you've never been diving in Key Largo, Quiescence is the best choice. If you're an experienced Keys diver, Quiescence is still the best choice.

I have dove with Q for several years and it is always a wonderful experience. This trip was on September 20-22 and I was able to do 3 deep dives, one on the Speigle Grove and two on the Duane. I dove with Mike and Steve and both are excellent. The 6 person max is a great format for getting great service from folks who really care about your dive experience. It is true that they will go out with as few as two paying divers which cuts down on cancelations. They accomodate as much as they can and I highly recommend them over any operation in the upper keys that I have worked with. Give them a try when your diving the keys, you won't be sorry.

The staff and policies of this dive centre are excellent. This is a 6 pack diving center, meaning that they only take a maximum of 6 persons to each dive site. My son and I had booked for 2 days of diving. In the afternoon of day one, we were the only ones that had booked but they had no problem taking us out and, no doubt, suffered a loss that afternoon. Regrettably, we have had other dive centers refuse to go out when they didn't have enough people to make it worthwhile for them and have even been given false excuses for not going out (see Looe Key Reef Resort & Dive Centre at Ramrod Key!).

Talk about excellent staff. Captain John has an enourmous amount of knowledge and is most helpful on getting in and out of the boat. Guy in the shop was most helpful as well. The dive experience was safe and most enjoyable.

We are going back to dive and snorkel in July and we will be booking with them again. We never met the owner of this Center, as they were away during this time, but their excellent staff and wonderful policies make this a wise choice for scubadiving and snorkeling.
