We were in Key Largo for one night and made it a point to make this our dinner destination based on all the great reviews. I also saw their piece on the Food Network. We liked that everything is done in a relaxing fashion. Everyone is very friendly in this family owned establishment. There were folks working on their laptops, perfect atmosphere for that. We sat outside on a somewhat stormy evening, but it did not bother us. Yes, it sits near the highway, but the lush vegetation takes care of that. We started out with the spicy crab, artichoke and almond dip. I had the chicken cacciatore, one of the specials. My wife had one of the mahi dishes with homemade mash potatoes. Everything was very good. I forget the name of the dessert, but get it. It was some warm blueberries and pineapple combo with a scoop of vanilla ice cream served in some kind of giant fishbowl glass. Simply the best dessert I've ever had. We did get a bag of their coffee beans to take back with us. We enjoyed dinner so much we stopped in the next morning for a quick bite before our snorkeling trip. It helped that Sundiver snorkel trips are right around the corner. If we're ever down in the Keys again, one can bet we'll be stopping in.
