We were in Key Largo for a few days and this was one of the places where we had breakfast. It's on a side street off the main highway so it takes a little effort to find, but it's good enough to justify the trip. They have plenty of choices on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. I was even able to get an omelette made with Egg Beaters, which is something that can be hard to find. The setting, by the way, is pretty funky. The waterfront is just off the parking lot and right there in the water are some rental houseboats that look like they have seen better days - according to the plywood sign, they go for $75 a night, which must say something about their condition. But all of this is part of the charm of the Keys. So if you want a good breakfast in place that reflects the real Keys, take a trip to the Hideout.
