“Good local”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

Local flavor... They did let us order lunch before the official start time. Key largo fish sandwich was the most complimented.

“Nothing great, but a favorite place of locals”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

Nothing great here except that it is a local favorite by the sea. It is a run down kind of funky diner, and we had breakfast. To be fair, we did not have lunch or the Friday Fish Fry, which might be fun. The breakfast was average == I had eggs, my husband had pancakes. They are not open for dinner. I suppose their charm is their location on the water (although I couldn't see much of the water through buildings and boats on the dock)..

“Popular Local's Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

Wehave lived in Key Largo about 12 years & have had breakfast here almost every Sunday that we are in town. It is an interesting place for tourist as you overlook a houseboat hotel and is in a converted conch house. We have only been there for breakfast but it is also open for lunch & has a well known Fish Fry on Fridays (my husband does not eat fish). The staff is very friendly and the food is aways good. There is a sizeable menu for a small place so everyone can find something to eat.

“Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Good prices.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

We have been going here every time we vacation in Key Largo. This restaurant is your "greasy spoon". The food is quick, service friendly, and the quarters cramped. We were able to sit outside for a little fresh air, but the service was a little slower. Coffee is great. Eggs Benedict had a little too much hollandaise sause on it, but tasted fantastic, although my arteries were being clogged up as I ate it. We had two young kids with. The servers were very friendly to the kids. The kids had fun. It's a little hard to find...you need to look for a large billboard on the Atlantic side of US-1. Turn at the base of the sign and drive to the end of the road. Go here for an authentic Keys breakfast!
