Description: DiGiorgio's Bayside Grille is the second restaurant, at the same location, owned and operated by the DiGiorgio Family. With its upstairs full service dining room, there is no other view like ours of the sunset and Florida Bay. We have been named the Most Photographed Sunset in Key Largo for this reason. Our downstairs Sunset Bar features Live Music, Happy Hour, Live Conch Shell Blowing at Sunset, a limited bar menu and so much more. On the right night you can catch an internationally reknown Blue's band performing. Check our calendar on our website. A great place for dinner and a show.

“Stunning View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2008

Wow! The view from the dining area is stunning here. The food's excellent, extremely tasty and plentiful. The overall rating would be excellent if it wasn't for the unfriendly staff.

“Excellent views, mediocre food, poor service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2008

Just had dinner at the Bayside Grille. The sunset was absolutely amazing. The location is all that has it going for itself.
I had the brandy steak which was ok but not worth the 28 bucks, my wife had the seafood sampler which also wasn't very much.
The service was bad, inattentive and rude. For 'your convenience' they add a 15 % tip to the bill for you. Since I already decided the service was way under par I had it removed and give a 5% tip (10 for the service minus 5 for adding the tip themselves). When leaving the waiter approached me for an explanation. Since I was serious I started to explain the problems I had with his service. After 2 sentences he stopped listening and throwing profanities toward me.

My advice: There are much nicer restaurants in Key Largo, with better food, way better service at similar prices and have even the same wonderful views (e.g. Gus Grill at the Marriott beach resort). Go there and avoid the Bayside Grille

“Very Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2008

We really enjoyed eating at this restaurant and loved the view. It's tucked back in off the road so you would not know it's there. The food is very good and they have a good lunch selection. Reasonable prices and good service. We took some friends who were visiting and they liked it. We will go back!

“Rude, horrible service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2007

Bayside Grill in Key Largo has a lovely location; it has a small open dining room on the second floor of a building, with a narrow deck all around, all facing the bay. My husband and I visited there in 2006, so when our neighbors at the Holiday Inn were looking for a place to watch the sunset on their last night, we recommended it and arranged to meet them there. When we all arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, about 30 minutes before sunset. The waitress/hostess told us she could not move together tables to accomodate a party of six. If we wanted to stay we would have to sit inside with no view. Our new friends were very gracious and ordered drinks to take downstairs and sit on the dock. My husband and I had been planning on dinner, so we stayed. We ordered dinner and had just recieved our soup and salad, when people started streaming into the restaurant. A busload of more than thirty people who were eating next door had arrived just to watch the sunset. They lined the rail at the deck, leaned against our table with their butts, joustled our chairs, and shouted to each other from across the room. Since we had just ordered entrees in the $25 range, we were upset about this treatment. We asked the waitress to give us a check for the soup and salad we'd already received so we could go join our friends on the dock. She was very snotty about it, and actually told us it wasn't that bad. There was no apology, no offer to buy us a drink, she wouldn't ask the 30+ people to sit so we could all enjoy the view, she wouldn't even ask the kitchen to hold our entrees so we could eat after the horde left. All this after being told they couldn't accomodate a party of 6! The waitress finally brought the bill for the cup of soup and side salad (which the bus boy had removed while we talked to her) and we left. We stood on the dock downstairs to catch the last 3 minutes of the sunset and drove to Num Thai for the best sushi in town.
