Wow, after reading the other reviews we must have gone on their one really bad night. We arrived to a very busy restaurant (usually a good sign the food is good), the hostess was not taking names she instead barked that she will remember who is next. Sure. She of course did not, so you had to be 1-honest and 2-a little stern. Fighting for your spot in the waiting line is not a great way to start the evening. We finally got seated and the service by the wait staff was as bad as the service by the hostess. Our waitress was really annoyed it was so busy, though it seemed there were plenty of servers and bus people on duty. Looking around and listening ,all the other customers that night were receiving the same "why are you here" treatment. Some walked out after waiting so long for anything...water, tea, food. Our food arrived finally, it was cold, they were hot dishes, the tea was cold and the replenishing of the small water glasses did not happen. The food itself was nothing more than average.

with such an extensive menu, it's really hard not to find something that suits your tastebuds. The sushi is fresh and delicious and the service was superb! We didn't have a chance to try some thai food, but the sushi was great. Try the hand rolls or the chicken wontons! I would definitely dine here again!

We have been eating at Nam Thai for nearly ten years. It is,without doubt, our favorite sushi restaurant in the Keys. The fish is always fresh and the prices are quite inexpensive for the quality of the food, the superb service, and the perfect ambience. The stuffed tuna roll, the nigiri scallops and wahoo, and the soups are extraordinaire. The daily specials are always terrific values as well as being fresh, flavorful and filling.
