Very attentive staff with great attitudes. The pina coladas were excellent. The best I have had yet. The sauteed scallops were especially delicious. Melt in your mouth! It was a beautful setting for a delightful experience.

Put this place on your list to have bayside dining with great seafood and good friendly service. The prices are fair and the food is very good!
We found this to be our favorite restaurant in Key Largo and went here twice during our stay.
On one visit my husband and I shared the two lobsters (good), crab stuffed mushrooms (a little greasy), and the Wedge salad (good).
On the second visit I had the Bayou Pasta with shrimp instead of chicken and found this meal to be very tasty.
Nobody at our table cared for the "pretzel" type bread and they should stick to just serving sourdough rolls instead.
We have been going to Sundowner's for years & years. It just doesn't get any better than this. We always eat there when in the Key's. Sometimes we'll even drive down from our home in Fort Lauderdale (an hour & a half drive) just to eat there.
Our group made a very recent trip to Sundowners during the '06 lobster season. I will cut through the chase and tell you it is THE best food I have ever put in my mouth!!
The rum-runner to start off with was very smooth, as we looked at the boats returning from their destinations on the smooth as glass water...
As we were tasting our freshly prepared salads with homemade dressings, someone commented that if the entrees were as good as the salads we were in for a treat...
Let me go ahead and tell you when they brought out the fresh Florida lobster tail and filet mignon, it was THE best I have ever tasted!! The lobster was grilled to perfection and the filet was as good as any I have EVER tasted!!
Maybe a little pricey for the budget minded family but I would definately return for a meal there ANY day!!
The service and staff accomadated us just as great as the meal tasted....AWESOME!!!a+++++
