We stayed here on our way to Key West. Such a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. We loved it. Beautiful property, nice restaurant and bars next door, and wonderful service. We stayed one night, drove to Key West and partied for 3 days, and we had planned to stay in Miami near the airport our last night. We enjoyed Dove Creek so much, that I called and asked if they had any rooms left for our final night, and luckily they had one. It was a great way to decompress.

Both rooms we had were lovely, the beds were comfy, and we nearly had the pool to ourselves. Very relaxing.

We would definitely choose this spot in Key Largo again.

We recently visited the Dove Creek Lodge on our way to Key West and were very satisfied with our visit. We had the Handicapped garden view room which had a balcony(our view was mostly obstructed by a giant palm tree) and a large washroom. The room was clean and simple and the staff was helpful with any questions we had.
Breakfast was included in the price. The choices included granola, fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt and coffee, just to name a few.

The lodge also has a pool, hot tub and a restaurant on site. We unfortunately did not get the chance to do either. Hopefully next time:)

Dove Creek Lodge is a Gem. Recently I stayed at Dove Creek Lodge and Took My Family. We Received A Stay and Play Package for the Weekend. What a Wonderful Idea for Florida Residents During the Summer.You Check In On A Friday and you Don't check out until 4 On Sunday (most places its 11) A Complimentary Continental Breakfast is served in the Lobby , You Can use the Kayaks for Free and you Receive a Free pass for Two for Sunday brunch at Snappers Restaurant Next Door. The Food at Snappers was Excellent and the Staff Was very friendly. Dove Creek is a Wonderful Place to Bring Your Family. We Will Return to Dove Creek Lodge for Many Years to Come. The Rooms are 159.00 and up and are Very Clean and Fresh. From The Very First Day We Checked in Until the Day We checked out , Service Was great And The Girls at The Front Desk Go Above And Beyond expectation. Stay You Wont Regret It................

We stayed at Dove Creek Lodge for a few days during our recent honeymoon. I found the place on TripAdvisor and booked it because of all the great reviews from past travelers. It did live up to the reviews! The staff was very friendly, the room was decorated very nice with tons of space, the resort is right on the ocean with a great restaurant and boat rental company on site. We loved the hammocks on the beach and the pool/jacuzzi area. The only problem we had was that the king size bed in our room actually turned out to be two twin mattresses pushed together, one was a bit taller than the other, fortunately we had no problems with snuggling up on one of the twin mattresses. I would go back again if I am ever in the area.
