I come to the keys often and I decided to try mac's agian after not having a great meal the first time, but my friend wanted to go. Well, what amazes me is how some restuarants take the keys laid back style and believe that its o.k. to run your place of business like that, to have a dirty dark a/c-less shack and try to pull off serving food there is disquisting almost instulting to try and make you believe that they are following the correct health laws and guide lines, The food wasn't exspensive but I am one to believe that you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to food. The service was slow and if you weren't a local that the waitress couldn't grease up for her tip you were forgottened about. I won't be back, i found other good places for lunch, different from what they seem to think. Best tip for travelers, open your eyes sometimes if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck looks like a duck its a duck!

We stopped here for dinner while staying in Islamorada for dinner. The food was excellent, I had a blackened fish that was delicious. The service was good, fun atmosphere and good value. There is seating both inside and outside. If you're looking for good food, I'd definitely recommend stopping here - MM 99.4 heading south.

Stopped in because the parking lot was filled to overflowing. The coconut shrimp was outstanding, the decor was a little wierd and funky-but fun, and the service was great. Will defintely put this on my list to return and try the fresh fish.

I went to Key Largo on a snorkeling trip, and asked the boat capitan about any good local places to eat. He recommended Mrs. Mac's kitchen. Watch out for falling coconuts!!
The food was great, had a great slice of Hawaiian wedding cake (to die for) and nice portion sizes. We ate at the counter and there was great things to look at while you waited for your food, lots of cool license plates on the walls and nick knacks to look at. great value! Under $20.00 for the two of us to eat. would definietely go back given the chance!!
