My boyfriend and i recently went to key largo. We read about Mrs Macs on here, and it just happened to be next to our hotel. We ate breakfast there every day!! The food is AMAZING!!! The biscuits and gravy are insanely good! The prices are great too!. if in the area you HAVE to stop in there and eat. Every morning we went there, and every morning it was packed!!!

I am devastated that somehow I missed the stellar reviews from you TripAdvisor pals. Been here three weeks and just got over to Mrs Mac's. This Key Largo roadside diner provided the best lunch we've had not counting cafe Morada which is a "whole nother thing". My grilled wahoo was delicious, far better than the swordfish at The Fish House. In fact I am now a Wahoo fan. The key lime pie was really fine, creamy and tangy with a delicious crust, and they won't share the family recipe :-( Another "best" in my opinion. For such an unassuming place they have some nice touches like Perrier on the menu along with the Coke for only $1.50, and Champagne Brunch every day but Sunday. We'll be going back!

The Food was exquisite and the service was outstanding. While eating there I noticed the owner, a beuatiful blonde whom was singing along with the radio, and she had a beautiful voice. All the servers were having so much fun and it made the atmosphere fun. We are from Europe and the waitress Paula, gave us some good ideas for places to visit around the area. The only thing that was offputting was when she came out of the bathroom with a breastpump.

That's what it says on the back of the waitresses shirts, and eat well we did on 3 nights out of 4 we spent in Key Largo (the other night we ate somewhere else for a change, and were disappointed !). Its a basic 'no frills' diner, but the food is good and well cooked (we tried the steak and the fish), the service very friendly and the prices represent excellent value for money. The local beer is good and cold, and costs about $2.1/2 a pint.. We're glad we found it.
