We have been wintering in Key Largo for over 15 years, and Mrs. Mac's has been a weekly event for us. It is always good food, and friendly and clean. But it is NOT a sushi restuarant, just great seafood, and great daily specials. The Monday night meatloaf is a regular meal for many locals. Our favorite meal is the Fish on a Bun.
Great comfort food. The place is covered in license plates --- you will spend alot the time reading all the plates. We went there twice while on vacation, the food was so good. The key lime pie was awsome.
Have been to the keys on several occasion one thing that never changes is Mr Mac's, A Must for anyone, food and service are excellent. Amazing place to eat.
My husband & I visit Key Largo every year. We always look forward to this little "dive" of a place that serves one fantastic breakfast. Great service, great food, kitchy decor but very clean. We're looking forward to going back in October '07
Wonderful family style, old fashioned atmosphere. Their large iced lemonade and fresh grilled fish sandwiches are a nice respite from all the fast food outlets. Recently redecorated, it still has license plates from all over America on its walls. Once you dine here, you will make it a stop on every trip.
