We're well-traveled, frequent fine diners (business and pleasure) and expect a good meal with equally impressive service. This was our last of six evenings in Key Largo, largely proceeded by disappointment (the aroma of fishy dining rooms was still lingering in my sinuses). Let's get to it, with a few negatives that shouldn't stop you from coming here; plastic checkerboard tablecloths, converted patio furniture and don't be surprised if some schmuck wearing a swimsuit with four kids takes the table next to you. Hey, it's the Florida Keys and they're not high on standards of personal behavior down here. Now the good stuff. A well stocked bar. All week, I was lucky to find a place with one bad single malt scotch and this place had more than a few good top shelf selections. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. The wife was pleased with the sampler entreé and I was impressed with their house specialty...a pork version of Ossobucco with mushroom risotto. The meat fell off the shank. It turned out to be the best meal we had all week. Bon appetite.
