“"Wonderful"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We have been here before and couldn't wait to come back. We stayed in a different room this time. It was a studio room on the first floor with a garden view and private patio. The rooms name is "Caribe", there is a jacuzzi tub/shower, these rooms are spotless, beds are comfy, just as beautiful as the first time we stayed. The first time we stayed we were on the second floor with the room facing the bay, the bedroom and living area were seperate and there was just a shower in the bathroom.
There are kayaks on the property to rent at $20.00 an hour per couple. There is a man made beach with lounge chairs also Tiki Huts with fans to sit and watch the sunsets, and Beautiful sunsets there are. Plan on cooking out too, since they have a nice grill area and kitchens in each room and a hammock to relax on after you are done eating. What a WONDERFUL peaceful trip, we will be back, this is our new home away from home.

We really enjoyed getting to know the owner and his beautiful family at this wonderful "Gem" in the Keys. We plan to return in the near future and look forward to checking out the other rooms at this quaint, yet upscale, special place.

Room Tip: Hope to get the large room downstairs on the next visit!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. My boyfriend and i stayed in the Aquamarina suite this past weekend and have since been discussing when we can return. We drove passed it the first time, and it is a little difficult to spot off the main drag. To us, this only made it more perfect. We didn't notice any noise or disturbance coming from neighboring properties as others have mentioned. Carissa greeted me by my name when i walked in the office, and personally walked me over to our suite. It was spotless and perfect, with a view to die for. She took the time to recommend local places to eat and have drinks, and answered all of our questions. We sat out on the dock to watch the sunset, and even though the hotel was at capacity, it was just us. Grabbed some drinks and snacks at the Publix down the street, and just RELAXED. Quiet, intimate, stunning views, private, romantic... I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Key Largo. Will be getting back as soon as possible!!!

We are here now and what a cool place. Room is spotless, which is great b/c we are like OCD with cleanliness. Marble floors, coastal trendy theme decor. Hammocks, lounge chairs, tiki huts make it great. We had planned to go out to dinner every night but there are little kitchens and a grill. The scene was so nice we decided two nights in a row to buy local fish and cook here. Very impressive if you want to just come and relax and have activities planned elsewhere.

OMG!!what a find !! A unique hotel for adults only. Perfect get-a-way . From the time we arrived we felt in Paradise Found!. Quiet, quaint, serene. One of a kind Botique hotel. So,glad,we stayed here as opposed to a larger chain. No pool, no,problem. We swam in the gulf right off the property. We were also fortunate enough to swim with the manatees right off the end of the dock. What an adventure!! Grounds are beautiful and well manicured. Dominic was a gracious host . Thanks Capt.K C for our snorkeling trip,to,the reef . Even though it was rough we still had a great time and the water is beautiful. The boat picked us up off the dock and is
Imited to 6 people . Best place for breakfast is the Hideout. It is where the locals hang. Large portions, the pancakes are awesome. For all other meals pick up snacks, sandwich stuff, wine and beer at the Publix and picnic on grounds of Azul. Take a short trip down the road to Key Largo Chocolate Factory for some awesome chocolate. Tell Sharon hello . Then take a nap in the very large hammocks. Best spot for the sunset is right off the back of the property . Get a bottle of champagne and chill!! (literally)Can't wait to go back. !!

We stayed in the Royale suite and it was perfect; we felt at home the moment we walked in. Spacious, comfortable, very clean, well appointed and the view was beautiful during the daytime and the evening hours. The property was well groomed, tranquil and quite. Our host, Dominic the owner/mgr, was the captian on the hotel's private boat during our sunset cruise. He gave us a personal perspective on the wildlife and eco system that we would never have gotten from the toursist packed cuises. The was the perfect weeked and we are looking foward to our next vist, as well as, a trip to check out the Key West property.

Room Tip: The Bay side rooms have a great view but if shaded tropical views are your thing; we recommend the g...

I researched this hotel before purchasing on Expedia. My husband and I decided to go on a tropical getaway for 5 nights/6 days and we chose Key Largo. When we first drove up the place looked amazing. We walked into the front office and met Dominic. Dominic was very welcoming and incredibly helpful from the first moment we met. We stayed in the Royale suite and it was stunning - very clean and even better than the pictures on the website. We felt like we had our own little oasis.
It's a small resort so if you hang out in the cabanas or go swimming, you will meet your neighbors. We ended up sharing 4th of July with two other couples as we watched the fireworks. We had a blast. We can't wait to go back next year.

Room Tip: go with the water view suites.
