The resort grounds and landscaping ate great. Views of the water and pools are fabulous. Only issue was floors in town home were dirty. Don't think they had been cleaned well in a while. However, that said the resort is in great condition, it was just this unit that was lacking. Could use some redecorating!!

We rented the 3 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath condo for a week. It is very spacious with a large balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. The kitchen had many amenities including a granite countertop and Kitchenaid stainless appliances. Unfortunately, the apliances were in need of repair. The Micowave didn,t rotate because the arm was broken. The dishwasher was broken too and pulled out of the cabinet when you opened the door. They also need to sweep and clean the "marble type" floor which was sticky and smudged. The TV's are also old projection type and have poor viewing angles and dim contrast Could we also have a heated pool? It was large and fun but only when the sun warmed it up later.

Room Tip: ask about location and proximity to the pool

We rented this 3 BR, 3 bath condo for a week, during spring break. Surprisingly, the complex was practically deserted. The condo itself, #136, has a great layout with an open floor plan. Unfortunately, there were quite a few maintenance problems. The blinds in the master bedroom and bath were either broken or inoperable. One of the two closets in the MBR had a large stain on the carpet, with a very bad odor (maybe from a pet) that would have been hard to miss by the cleaning crew. We didn't use that closet at all. Just kept the door shut. The mattress in the MBR was a joke, really in need of replacement. Several overhead can lights in the great room were burned out. All of these were minor annoyances, but unexpected, nevertheless. For several days the outdoor spa was cold. One of our party finally sighted the pool maintenance guy and he immediately resolved the problem.

We stayed for a week in a spacious condo. Every evening I would go for a walk along the tree-line streets, around the marina and down to the pier to look at the sailboats anchored just off the shore. It was heavenly and because the place is well-secured with a gate and a guard I always felt very safe walking alone. My husband and I really enjoyed having the Island Grill right next door to the property so we could go for a drink and listen to live music every night. If you do go to the grill, go through the gate at the side of the Mariner's Club and not by the busy road at the front. One of the friendly security staff gave us this advice and we were thankful for it.

This is a small, condo community with a gated entrance and a variety of condo styles and sizes. My daughter and I stayed there for four days last week and several things stood out: the people who work there, or for this group, are simply incredible - helpful beyond measure, responsive to any and all issues, and generally one of the nicest, most helpful staffs I have ever met with. The resort's pool is also absolutely gorgeous - starts off at each end like the ocean, gradually gets deeper - very safe for little people. The first room we stayed in (705) was just completely grotty - hairs in the bed, moldy-looking carpeting, toilet that required several repairs. Ugh. But we moved to another, ever so much nicer unit (609) much nicer furnishings, tile floor, clean and lovely - what we had hoped to get from the start. A lovely place, quiet and just what we wanted.

A group of three senior citizen couples, were treated very unfairly and extra charges were deducted from my debit card, without my consent, and would not be refunded by the General Manager, Laurie Sprague. We arrived on Saturday February 16th 2013 and noted, at arrival, that a lot of damage was inside the condo. Blinds were broken, floors were chipped, carpet was nasty, the safe was missing from the master bedroom, the dishwasher was not secured under the cabinet, etc. A list of items were made and pictures were also taken by us. We immediately contacted our listing agent, by phone, and left a message explaining the damages found. She did not return the call. Also contacted was customer service at the resort and the damages were explained to them. After three additional calls the leasing agent responded and stated that she would send someone out to look at the damages so we would not be held responsible. No one ever came. We checked out on Thursday February 21, 2013 and left the unit in better condition than it was found upon our arrival. ~Two weeks later I found that $345.00 had been deducted from my debit card. I contacted Ms. Laurie Sprague, General Manager and she informed me that I was being charged for some damaged blinds in one of the bedrooms (two slats were missing) and that I had not specifically reported that blind, which is not true. She knows and so does the leasing agent and the customer service at the resort that I did not do the damage and they are only trying to get additional money for an already damaged unit.

The size of the rooms in the villas were large, which worked well for our family and friends. We reserved 4 different villas for our large group. The information about each villa could have been more detailed when making the reservations. When we checked in, we found that each of the villas had been changed to a different one. Not a problem but unanticipated. The contents of the villas -- kitchen, TVs, etc. -- was great. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and easy to connect. We couldn't find the washer and dryer for three days -- we had to ask. They were in an outside storage closet off the deck. We did run out of hot water and had cold showers one day, but they fixed it. Overall, we had a great experience in Key Largo. A member of our family is a travel agent and organized our dinners and adventure activities.
