“Very nice property but maybe not for elderly or small kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Beautiful landscaping with a huge zero depth pool. Comfortable but dated units with lots of extras in the kitchen to help you feel at home. We reserved a two bedroom unit and were assigned a three bedroom, three bath house. The big issue was all the steep stairs with no rails on the landing. Difficult for our elderly traveler and a bit of work to haul luggage up to the masters suite on the top floor. I absolutely loved the second floor screen porch with chaise lounges and great ocean view!

“Wonderful R&R, Just What We Needed!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Spent last week at one of the Mariner's 3 BR units, it was so lovely and comfortable, even our 21 and 19 year olds enjoyed it. Although it is oceanfront there is no beach but the pool is beautiful and has sand around it to give you a beach feeling. It was very quiet during our stay which we liked and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We ate lots of fresh fish and can recommend Snapper's Restaurant, The Fish House Encore, and next door's Mandalay's Island Grill. Mrs. Mac's for breakfast or lunch, too. Fun time.

“Very Nice Unit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

We stayed over the New Years week with a family of 6 people and I have to say the condo we stayed in on the first level was great! The views are spectacular and the resort is very nice overall. The 24hr security guards are kind and helpful and it gives you piece of mind while on vacation in an unfamiliar place with children. The main pool & hottub did loose there heating element the majority of our stay so that was a bit disappointing but not the resorts fault, it was another guest who spoiled it for everyone. We did also have a small issue with ants and palmetto bugs wanting to come in and join our family fun but that's to be expected in tropical climates. I have to say overall I would definitely recommend Mariners Club as a place to stay, it was a home away from home for us and we quite enjoyed our vacation!:)

“Great place to stay for large families!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

We stayed at the Mariner's Club back in March and it was a breath of fresh air! The place is not a hotel, but you rent the units by owner (at least that is what we did). The unit that we rented was 3 bedroom overlooking the pool. First bedroom was on the first level and the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were on the 2nd level. The unit was clean, nicely decorated and full of every thing you can ask for. We even found laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. There were candles for us to use, which we did out on the balcony for dinner. It was lovely! We invited my parents and cousin with her fiance to join us. What a great family getaway! And while there isn't a beach on or near the property, we did enjoy the pools (they have several) and the jacuzzi grotto style. I would love to stay here again! Great experience at a truly great price!

Room Tip: Overlooking the marina must be quiet, but overlooking the pool is fun!

“Nicest resort in the keys”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at Mariners club resort and what beautiful place. The grounds are well kept, lush tropical setting, two beautiful pools and a nice marina. The place is very secure and also has gym, tennis courts and 2 nice outdoor hot tubs. The units are all individually owned so they vary in how they are set up and furnished. We stayed in #406 and it was really great. It is a 3/3 with plenty of space and we were a family of five. The unit was nicely furnished and incredibly comfortable and it was in
A perfect location overlooking a beautiful pool and the ocean. The resort is well located in key largo, just an hour from Miami and pennekamp park is just a few minutes away by boat or car for water activities, snorkeling, diving or canoeing. Lots of places to eat even a little place right next door on the water with music. This is a great place to go and relax and hang out and we will definitely be back.
