I have stayed at this hotel several times while in Key Largo diving. It is right next to the dive shop I use. When it was a Ramada it was about $30 a night less and I got free breakfast. I am a fan of the Marriot chain so thought it might be upgraded but really, very little was changed except now where the breakfast use to be served, it's a bar/resturant/deli. Breakfast is available but it is at a price. Anything from fruit and cereal for about $5 to a full breakfast for $10 or so. Very nice folks that give excellent service one would expect from a Marriot. There were three of us sharing a room and they got a roll away bed for us so quickly it beat us up to the room. Also allowed us a late check out as we were diving the day we checked out. We were able to go ahead and take showers and get cleaned up. So overall, nothing wrong with this hotel, but it is still really more a Ramada than a Marriott and I guess I would rather have it be less money and free breakfast than a nicer lobby. Rooms are exactly the same as before. I don't even think they changed the carpet or beds.

This is closer to a Holiday Inn than a Marriot property. (that's not a compliment). It has a small pool. The rooms were clean but with cheap furnishings and amenities. The staff was friendly. There is a snackbar off the lobby which does have beer and wine. Free WiFi. It is near the highway so if you have a room on that side you'll hear the road noise. Parking is free and easy.

Room Tip: ask for the side away from the highway..

We decided to drive half way to Key West the night before we were due to check into our hotel in Key West. We found this hotel online and chose to stay there due to the Marriott name as much of the other hotels are not chain hotels so you never know what you are going to get. The room itself was just okay, but I thought that the bathroom felt very small. I would say that this hotel is okay to spend one night in, but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. I didn't think that this hotel was worth the $200 price tag.

The great thing about this place is how quiet it is. It backs onto the marina and you can pay a little extra for a room looking onto this and the pool (I would reccomend this option). The pool looks much larger in the pictures and is actually quiet small, which is a shame. The other downside is the lack of a proper restaurant in the hotel; having said that, the service at the bistro is very welcoming. Rooms are nice, but don't make up for the price tag. You will need a car to explore this island.

We were unaware that Nascar was in the area. We tried several hotels in Key Largo before we got to the Marriott - they had a room but at 200 dollars for the one night. The room was ok, the car parking was good but there was no bar really, just the cafe, No way to feel the money was worth it for an overnight. I was even confused on entry as to where reception was. Book ahead because these guys will up the rate for any reason.

I was here in august while travelling along the keys.
It was a good place to spend one night.
The hotel is on the main road so it's very easy to be found.

There is a big parking to leave your car and at the reception there is a complementary breakfast.
In the rate I chose, however, we had the breakfast at the hotel cafè and it was good!
The room was quite big with one king size bed, a small corner with a small kitchen and a quite big and very clean bathroom.
We had also a relaxing area with a sofa and a small table.
There was a small balcony where you can put your swimsuite if you need to dry them.

I think it's a good calue for your money if you stay in Key Largo.
