We stayed at the Hampton Inn for one night as part of a trip down the keys and I really wish we could have stayed here longer. The hotel really does deserve it's high rating.
We managed to drive past the entrance as it's not that obvious so just look for a very large concrete tower which is just before the hotel as you head south. There are lots of restaurants just a short drive away and a Publix supermarket close by as well.
Overall, the hotel was very pleasant, well-maintained and very clean. The communal areas were very pleasant and the rooms were great. The rooms were a very good size - we had a sofa and a desk area with a balcony. The decor was really nice and the room just felt really clean and well cared for.
There is a small beach at the hotel and a tiki bar. Sadly we didn't visit the Tiki bar but it looked good when we saw it the next day. There is also a fitness centre in a free-standing building which has modern, well-maintained equipment. There is also a laundry room and the reception staff will sell you washing powder if you need it.
Breakfast was a buffet and there was plenty of choice and good quality.
One of the great things about this hotel is the customer service. Everyone we encountered, from cleaners to reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hand-written note from the Manager on arrival in the room was also a very nice touch and made you feel as if the staff really do care about their guests.
Keep up the good work!
