Good location in Key Largo. The bed was comfortable. New beds were being brought in to a number of rooms. Towels were very thin and not soft. There is not a night staff so if you are arriving late you need to let them know and they will leave your room key in a box outside of the lobby. Beach was not a beach to spend time on and the lounge chairs need to be updated. Pastries are in the lobby for breakfast but a better breakfast can be had at Burger King which is right across the street. OK place if all you intend to do there is sleep.

Bayside Inn provided me with exactly what I needed during my trip in Key Largo, which was a small lowkey place to rest my head at night for a reasonable price.

Was the place 5 stars? No, absolutely not, but it was affordable for me on my trip and provided me a decent place to stay while I was there.

My husband and I tried staying here and were EXTREMELY disappointed..could not even stay the full intended reservation..stayed 2 nights and HAD to leave n go elsewhere..the manager would not give any type of refund. .the room was dirty and cramped..the towels provided were old enough to use as rags..the pools filter hadnt been run since who knows when...the breaking point was the puke left on the back stairs...the place gave me the heebie-jeebies!!! HORRIBLE !!
Paradise,tranquility at Bayside Inn-u gotta b kidding me !

Room Tip: No rooms are good !

When you research the hotel prices in the keys you realize that, even though $150 is a lot of money to most of us, in the keys it doesn't buy first class. Once you understand that you'll realize this is a nice place for the money. Sure, housekeeping could do a better job (don't look under the beds) but how often do you clean under your bed?
Beds were good, big screen TV but my favorite is FREE Kayaks. Of course they are the litte cheesy ones but who cares. Once you get out and paddle around it's so peaceful you can over look it. Remember, you're going to the keys for the adventure, not to sleep in!
Didn't like that there is know one in the office after 7 pm but the people who are there are very nice.

Visited in May 2013 for two nights. Advertised, refurbished rooms, however only sign of update was 42" TV. Air-Con was louder than a Vulcan Bomber, Bathroom needs a complete update, Hairdryer hanging off the wall right next to sink....mmmm Electricity and water!

Definitely requires an upgrade!

Wifi, advertised as Free, well it was but no real signal at far end of the hotel!

Pros: This hotel was in a prime location with restaurants and novelty stores in walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are two restaurants on the grounds, one of which is overpriced, but has a tiki bar and overlooks the ocean. You even receive a discount at the restaurants with your stay at the hotel. Cons: The "beach" they advertise is more like a murky, shallow ravine you push your boat out to. The pool looked like it could only hold 10 people at a time. The headboard is attached to the bed and is noisy, so don't plan on moving around too much. The so-called breakfast was served in the tiny lobby; you're better off walking to BK or Dunkin' across the street. The hotel was certainly overpriced for its true value.

This was a nice place, Very clean, The beds were comfortable. The only thing I could complain about was that the did not get local channels on the TV. The location was good but a little hard to find. There was no vending machine on the property but restaurants were close by.
