Very Good Service, Food is excellent and unusually well planned. Great plaintains.

Sharkeys/Galley is tucked away in the Ocean Divers complex on an ocean side canal. Most tourists never find this great resturant and bar. I eat breakfast and lunch here several time a week on a regular basis. For breakfast, they offer the usual egg preparations and additionally a wonderful breakfast burrito (soft tortilla filled with scrambled eggs and sausage gravy), lachs and bagels and a Galley-wich with is a better version of an Egg-McMuffin.

For lunch, Paul and Adam have daily specials, which include homemade lasagne (Monday), burritos or tacos Tuesday and Meat Loaf Wednesday. Of course they have many, many fresh fish preparations. Oscars Mahi is to die for! I also like their fresh made fish dip and their fish tacos. All are generous portions.

You can either sit inside in the a/c or outside on the deck and watch the dive boats pass by. They get a lunch rush of divers grabbing a bite before their boats depart (and also locals on their lunch hour), but even it the busiest time, you can still get a table and be in and out in 45 minutes. The wait staff is attentive, efficient and very friendly. Eat here twice and Lucy will bring your usual drink to the table before she takes your order!

This is a TRUE taste of the Keys. Don't expect anything fancy but do expect excellent food, generous portions and a friendly, laid back atmosphere.

Tough to find,but worth looking for. This two tiered building with upstairs for breakfast and lunch and down stairs for oysters and dinner is truly wonderful. We have been there twice now for breakfast on the upstairs deck and for $14.47 for two you get a great omlette,eggs,corned beaf hash and the best home fries south of NYC-toast also-for two-with coffee and tea. This is truly laid back. You dine over the canal with boats going by right under you. Reading the names of the boats is fun. this is the Keys at's it's finest.
