Went to take a shower at 8am Sunday and the water was tepid at first, then positively cold. This is a Ritz-Carlton for crying out loud. And the bathroom sink taps both ran hot water instead of hot & cold - when the water was hot, that is. The cold shower ruined the stay for me. The hotel is beautiful but if I have to take a cold shower because they cheaped out and didn't install sufficient hot water heaters for all the rooms, then I'll be staying somewhere else next time. And if that wasn't enough, the rooms are not well noise insulated. You can hear every word from guests out in the halls.

Beautiful property, great customer service, especially from Elaine R. at front desk. Excellent club level experience. Got lucky with the weather also.
The new "8" sports bar is terrific as well. Prime rib sliders are the best.

I love this hotel. It is like a wealthy friend's home and you are his or her special guest. The decor is elegant but homey and relaxing. I love the Christmas decorations. They are so tasteful yet festive. I look forward each year to seeing the gingerboat sailboat in the lobby. It's such a fun tradition.

Room was clean and pleasant, partial beach view, quiet and great bed. I must say I am not too fond of the new decor, though. A limey green accent wall and ugly new curtains. They should have stayed with the more elegant previous decor in my opinion. But I'm sure other people really like the decor. What matters is the service at this hotel, which is super. Each member of the staff makes you feel like a family member visiting their home. This is something special to this hotel that I love. Always a pleasure to come back to the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island!

This was our second stay here. The first stay was exceptional and this stay was even better. Everything is top notch, the rooms, the furnishings and the grounds. Staff and service are both outstanding and Salt restaurant is world class
