We stayed here because we were attending a family reunion. The room had a nice view of the ocean & beach. It had a motel type entrance in that the door to the room opens to an outside walkway and not an interior hall. The room was not especially clean or well-maintained. The shower & toilet area need to be rehab-ed. Everything metal in the room (shower rod, hinges on doors, etc) was rusted. There was a live roach in the water container part of the iron when I went to use it. It couldn't be shaken out of the iron or drowned with water--eventually it got boiled to death from the heat of the iron. The coffee maker wouldn't stay turned on--kept having to push the 'on' button & hold it to get coffee to brew.
As far as the pool area, it was very crowded and loud with non-stop music and announcements. Not the place to go if you're seeking peace & quiet. You can eat by the pool, but it is expensive (as is the breakfast restaurant). All of the restaurants are kind enough to add a 20% service charge to your bill whether you feel it's warranted or not.
Beach area has chairs & umbrellas to rent, but again very expensive! On July 4th, there were none to be rented by about 1pm. But many of the reserved chairs sat empty the whole time we were at the beach. Apparently, guests rented them early in the morning, but then decided not to use them. An annoying set up. Ought to go to hourly rental.
Wi-fi is available & free. We couldn't get our laptop to work, though, so we went a few times to use the 3 computers the Inn has (one in lobby, 2 in conference center). It was tough to get on them, though, as they were constantly in use by teeny-boppers on Facebook and playing video games, and they didn't care that adults were waiting. So bring your laptop!
Parking is $15 a day if you use the valet service. We thought that was outrageous, so we self-parked for free. Be prepared to walk on a busy weekend as there is a limited amount of 'close by' parking to the Inn.
Overall, this was just an OK hotel and didn't seem worth the cost for what it is.
