We did not make a reservation, but we were lucky to snag an outdoor table. We sat on the second floor with a view overlooking the restaurant's beach. It was beautiful. I took a picture of the water and palms on my phone. When I showed it to a friend, they said that it looked like a picture that would come with the phone. You cannot see the sunset from here because the restaurant is on the oceanside.
My salad was delicious, but the dressing came in a little throw away plastic cup. When a restaurant serves $30 entrees, I think that they can do better than throw away dishes on a plate. That is my opinion. I saw these dishes at restaurants all over the keys, but to me it is very wasteful.
My husband had grilled yellowtail tuna, and I had pasta with shrimp with a red cream sauce on top. The food was tasty but not outstanding. We come from New Orleans so have high expectations. I did like the banana bread in the bread basket. We really enjoyed ourselves as the overall dining experience was above average.
