We recently stayed at JBR. Our son (16) was in Jupiter playing in a baseball tournament. Rooms were very comfortable-we stayed in a junior suite that had a small sitting room/sofa bed and bar area. Beds were fabulous. Partial ocean view is a great ocean view up the coast line! Bathrooms a little small (actually just small sink area-I'm only female in our family of 4 so bathroom is important!) but very nice (lots of extra shelving for toiletries). Pool is nothing special-just your standard rectangle-but beach is very nice. Had to use laundry three times-2 facilities available. Workout area is nice. Only ate breakfast there-very good. I thought the rate was very reasonable-our friends got even better rates on hotels.com. Eat at The Food Shack down the street - fabulous!

We hadn't been at the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa in 2 yrs and were dying to go back. They had a great promotion that we couldn't pas up.
Got there at 4:00 and was told our room was not ready. Got our cell # and told us they would call when it was ready in approx 20 minutes. 45 minutes later we went back to the front desk and they were just getting ready to call. No problem at all, had a great room.
Was also traveling with family and requested a room close to ours on the same floor. Was told they would try but it was a full hotel due to weddings, etc. They went above and beyond and got our rooms on the same floor and seperated by only one room.
The room was nice but some extra cleaning could be done. The pineapple lamp on the night stand between the 2 beds were coated in dust in the nooks but again, I don't stress about that.
The carpet c
ould of been steamed cleaned. A distinct scent of sunscreen was noticable every time when we walked in but again, this is a beach resort and overall, the upkeep for a hotel on the beach with alot of foot traffic is great.
Rooms are wonderful and we love the bathroom. Not your typical hotel bathroom. Rooms are decorated beautifully (think Tommy Bahama).
Sinclair's restuarant for breakfast is good but dinner is just wayyyy to much. Come on...the entrees are way over priced (averaging in
the mid to high $20.00's). We really didn't want to leave the property for a bite to eat but couldn't justify the high cost of this for a quick getaway. The restaurant was EMPTY at 7:00pm on a Saturday night and I think it would serve them well to have a more rounded/less expensive menu.
Pool was nice with towels and comfortable pool chairs. Seemed the bar staff was short staffed and have a very rude bartender in the afternoon that made it VERY obvious she didn't want to be there but we weren't going to let her ruin our getaway...Besides this one person, the rest of the staff was great.
Beach was nice but we just did some shell collecting and didn't hang out there much. Saw quite a few people enjoying it though.
Would we got back? You betcha!!!!!!

Conveniently located on a very nice stretch of beach. The hotel is very nice and the hotel staff are professional. The fitness room is very nice for cardio and resistance training. The food is really tremendous but pricey. The beach attendants are really great guys but the cabana bar at the pool has real issues from the attitudes exhibited by the bar staff. But don't let that stop you from staying at this hotel. Just by-pass the pool bar and no stress will be found. Now, the hotel charges $25 per day (8-5pm) to rent chairs and umbrellas and no food or drink is allowed to be brought down to the beach. This is really the only big problem with the Resort. You have to go back and forth from the beach to the pool to get food and drinks or get the beach attendants to bring the food to you. I believe this is a major issue with 95% of the guests regarding whether or not they would return. In 2009, the economy is not the best so other options should be explored by the hotel. The water and the beach are just beautiful and I will return as often as possible. Now you can take food and drink to the beach but you have to move down a ways to enjoy it away from the private beach. The rooms were nice with small balconies and the grounds were very well kept and lighted. Also, the Loggerhead sea turtles nest along this beach and we saw a couple on our stay. Lots of places to eat very near to the resort and lots of things to do.

Found the hotel and staff to be exceptional. This was a quick get away to celebrate our recent anniversary. Found every one friendly and even gave me a great spot right by the front door to park my motorcycle (I think some else also made this comment). Even though there was two weddings going on the resort handled it with no issues. The beach is great as is the pool and snack area. We had lunch out by the pool and it was very good. For dinner we found some nice restaurants in the area. We stopped by the Square Grouper but it was too packed with a special event so we went across the road to Guanabanas Island Restaurant which was very interesting but in a good way. The hotel clientele was a pretty mixed bag with a lot of young families and kids ... this could be because of the weddings. Probably somewhat on the more affluent side than average.

Stayed here a couple of nights for a small family reunion. We live only 20 miles from here but it was a nice treat as we got to stay later with our relatives in from out of town. Service was excellent and they were able to get us together on the same floor. Food was great, tiki bar was fun and the walks on the beach were perfect. A bunch of us went fishing one day while the girls did the spa and the kitchen even offered to cook up our fish for us. What a treat as we had fresh Mahi that day. We've stayed here before and can't wait to come back.
