I've stayed at the Jupiter Beach Resort several times while on business and have had pleasant stays. The rooms are clean, and spacious. The restaurant in the hotel has good Florida cuisine, specifically the seafood. The beach at the hotel is lovely and always seems deserted. I'm sure I would enjoy these trips more if I were on vacation!

  • Liked — Beach front location, every room has a balcony, great corporate rate
  • Disliked — Very isolated. Not the kind of place you will meet someone (not necessarily in a romantic way)

My husband and I decided to try the Jupiter Beach Resort for a quick getaway over Labor Day weekend. The hotel is not large, but offers a full range of amenities in an ocean front setting. Our room was a king on the top floor with a partial ocean view. I was initially concerned with the partial ocean view, but it turned out great. We could lay in bed and watch the waves come ashore. The room was not overly large, but comfortable and fully equiped. It had a wet bar with an under the counter refrigerator and coffee pot. The closet had a safe, iron and ironing board. The only negative comment we could make about the room was that it was cold and the air conditioning controls did not work properly. There were a couple of times when we just turned the unit off and let it warm up.
The staff at this hotel is mostly young and very pleasant. We had room service for breakfast both mornings and the service was prompt and the food really good. This particular weekend the hotel, while not filled to capacity, seemed to have quite a few families with small children. The pool area was loud and crowded. The hotel does offer chairs on the beach, which has eroded somewhat from the last storm. We have no hesitation recommending this hotel. We went there to relax and were not disappointed.

  • Liked — The friendly service.
  • Disliked — The air conditioning in our room.

My wife and I have been coming to Palm Beach for twenty years and always stay at the Breakers Hotel. For the first time ever we decided to try something different. We were visiting friends at Frenchmans Reef and they suggested the Jupiter Beach Resort as it was closer to their home. Upon entering the resort we were greeted by Rick Kaiser, a bellman. He introduced us to the property in a professional manner. He was very helpful. He showed us the room, spa, beach etc. I have to say that after spending the weekend at your resort, that I dont know if we will ever return to the Breakers. Also I highly recommend that upon arrival to this resort to request Rick as he knows the best restaurants, directions to and from the resort and is always there to help no matter what your request is.

We arrived at Ft. Lauderdale to drive down to Key West the same day, but due to the storm Fay, the road to Key West was shut down and tourists were mandatorily evacuated from Key West. So, we had to look for a place to stay somewhere near Ft. Lauderdale, just to wait for the storm to pass.

We stopped by Barnes & Noble to get accommondation infomation. The ad we saw first when I opened the Travel Magagine was Jupiter Beach Resort.

We gave a shot, and we soon learned that we gave a great shot.

The room we stays was very nice. The dark thick beams that run on the celling make the room noble and gorgeous. The vast view of the Atlantic Ocean we saw from the 4 sliding doors was overwelmimg. It had a nice balcony where we often sat and chatted looking over the ocean.

The beach was right outside of the hotel which was very very convenient. The Jupiter Beach is noted for turtle nestling, and we saw several small sticks that showed where the nests were. I definately wanted to see turtles at night, but because of the storm Fay, I missed it.

Our room price was $179 per night. $179 was a rate for a "half-ocean room", but the friendly front desk clerk upgraded it to a "full-ocean view room" with no extra charge for us.

And we had free beautiful breakfast every morning.

Moreover, when I saw the payment receipt when we checked out a few days later, there was $50 credit as well.

The hotel was full of nice sweet citrus smell from Spa. I loved it.

We would like to go back to the rerort again.

I stayed at Jupiter Beach Resort for business and pleasure for four nights and came home relaxed and looking forward to a return trip.

The property is right on the ocean and has a private beach, a gorgeous, newly remodeled pool, huge rooms, and is close to so many attractions and Florida-exclusive experiences that you'll never be bored. Relaxed, for sure, but not bored.

I saw that the resort doesn't have a high number of recommendations for 'young singles', but I have to say that I had a great time by myself at the hotel. I felt like I got the royal treatment by everyone at Jupiter Beach Resort, and they were able to suggest activities that suited my single status. I never felt like I was 'odd girl out' by dining alone or hanging and having a drink on the outside terrace overlooking the beach. For nightlife I was able to hit any one of the many clubs around Jupiter and in the nearby towns of Palm Beach, Delray, or Boca Raton.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. Lots of classic wood and fine materials for the interior, and the rooms were very large with spectacular views. I loved seeing the ocean through the floor-length sliding doors and being able to have breakfast or a snack out on the balcony. One of the neatest things was how many stars were visible at night. Being a city girl, I don't get to see too many celestial objects and I spent a lot of time gazing out at the ocean and stars. I didn't want to come in and go to bed, but when I did, a huge bed with the softest sheets and a multitude of pillows awaited me. It rocked to be able to lie in bed and watch TV on the large set while having a steak fillet dinner and thinking about what I was going to do on my days off.

I can't recommend Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa enough! It's a great place to get work done, hold meetings, and definitely a great place to come to play and relax. Bring your family, bring your sweetheart, or make a solo escape to the beautiful resort by the sea. You'll probably see me.

  • Liked — The luxurious rooms and its beach front location.
  • Disliked — There weren't any screens on the sliding doors.
